You know when you’re walking by a new street, looking at all the new surroundings, and some houses immediately catch your attention? I’m sure it’s not ordinary houses that catch your eye. It’s always the modern ones, the ones that look so different and unique.
Callow Residence, located in California, is an excellent example of a place like that. Its exterior has the perfect balance of unique angles and shapes and simple white-colored walls.
This beautiful house gives off such a maze-like vibe with its interesting exterior and all the fun shapes. I love a good puzzle! It’s time to get inside the house and see if that feeling continues on with its interior.
Entering the living room kind of made me feel like I had entered a gallery. Its high ceiling allows so much space on the walls for all kinds of displays – starting from deer antlers to two very different types of art work. Even the little modern black chair in front seems like an art piece!
I’m actually loving the different displays on that wall. If I lived there, I would totally embrace the gallery feel and make that wall full of various art pieces. It would be such a fun thing to do and would look amazing!
When you get tired of gallery-making, you can relax on the lovely black couch and binge-watch some fun movies on the flat screen TV opposite it.
The living area has floor-to-ceiling window with see-through doors on one side, and very high, big windows on the other side of the room. This means that you do not have to worry about the sunlight,, there is certainly plenty of it.
The cooking area looks absolutely splendid! The only thing missing is the food, so let’s hurry and make all the delicious snacks!
Making all the tasty food is easy even for those of us who aren’t really chefs (yes, I can relate) when it’s in a pretty kitchen. The brown island in the middle surrounded by cabinets with black countertops provides all the space for your cooking experiments.
Divided from the kitchen by a big white wall is a dining area. The most beautiful dining wooden table is in the middle of it and, guys, I can already taste all the yummy dishes that would be on here.
Let’s move on to the bathroom quickly because it has one of my favorite things in the entire house, the bathtub.
It is separated from the rest of the room by a glass door and takes up the entire width. It is actually so big that it makes you feel like you’re in a jacuzzi. It’s black in color and has very wide sides, so you can put anything that you want on it.
Here’s an idea: putting on some candles around it, adding a bath bomb, and playing some nice music. One more thing that I would add would be some moody lightning, maybe a colorful one, such as pink. That would literally be the bath of a century, I want it so bad right now!
As I have shown you, this house does have floor-to-ceiling windows, but don’t worry, the privacy is all there. All of the fun walls around the house make it impossible for the ‘outside audience’ to see anything inside.
The only thing they can see is a cool exterior that makes them stop in their tracks immediately.
So, now think about it. Do you want to be someone who can only turn their head around to look and appreciate this cool house set in a fun, new street? Or, its resident that knows each corner of this beauty by heart?
