Get Lost In The Magic Of A 600 Sq Ft Cabin Tucked Away In A Woodland Wonderland

Sharing is caring!

Here, times slows down and the outside world fades away.

Here simplicity meets serenity and promises your soul a brand new start.

Here, in a 600 sq ft cabin in the middle of a woodland wonderland, adventure, relaxation, and tranquility dwindle in the air.

The Pine Ridge Cabin, tucked in the peacefulness of the Old World Garden Farm in Quaker City, Ohio, calls you to step outside your comfort zone and experience living close to nature in the finest way possible.

Not only does the house appear super cozy and sweet, but it also has a deeper value. Believe it or not, this charming black cabin covered in metal planks that look like wooden ones, corrugated aluminum panels, and stone pieces is a gem of sustainable living.

See that water tank over there? The water for the house gets collected and filtered!

Oh, how I love smart solutions that are good for our planet! Soon enough, the owner believes he could turn the entire cabin into a completely self-sufficient house! And I’m looking forward to that!

Inside the cabin, you’ll be greeted by a simple setting, without any meaningless details. Just good old basics, with a cherry on the top – the gorgeous pine wood siding. I bet it smells wonderful in here. Nothing beats the smell of pinewood for me!

Since the entire cabin is one big room divided into sections, the kitchen is right in the back, just a few steps away.

As the owner says, it’s small but mighty and it’s got everything you want in a kitchen. Beautiful alder wood countertops and white vintage cabinets add points to the homey atmosphere.

Turn around and you’ve got a small, but functional bathroom. There’s nothing fancy in here, but there are a couple of things which you’ll love as much as I do. For starters, behind those tiny doors is a water heater, an eyesore in every house, in my opinion.

I love how they figured out how to hide it and make the bathroom more spacious.

Also, can we appreciate the no-tile use here and the continuation of the pinewood planks? Thaaank you!

Right around the corner are the stairs that lead to the bedroom loft.

This is a spot in the cabin that helps make it feel airy and even bigger in size. I always like it when small cabins have lofts. Those are such brilliant solutions!

The great thing about this bedroom lof is how spacious and bright it is. A nice, king-size bed fits up there, and even a small desk for work. Having windows on all sides of the house ensures a terrific view and lots of natural light, which, in my opinion, is super important in tiny cabins.

Outside the house, in the back, is a covered patio with a seating spot and a grill.

I feel that this part of Ohio gets lots of unexpected rain, hence the covered patio that will still provide outdoor hangouts. And, if you look closer to the right, there’s a covered hot tub, another fabulous extra of this property!

This small cabin might not be a lot, but there’s magic hidden inside every pore, guaranteeing you’ll get a good night’s sleep, a much-needed energy restoration, and memories that will stick with you forever.
