Somebody Turned A World War Two Train Into A Home And It’s The Coolest Thing Ever

Sharing is caring!

The moment I spot a unique home, I can’t help but drop everything and give it my full attention.

So, you can imagine my excitement when I discovered someone had converted an old World War Two train car into a livable home.

It’s such a fascinating blend of history and creativity that I don’t want to waste another second. To all my fellow history buffs out there, this one’s for you!

All Aboard The Home Train

When you first arrive at the location you will notice that there isn’t much going around. And to most of you, that will be perfect.

Since the home is located in a pretty secluded area, you will have all the peace and quiet you desire.

The driveway that leads to the property is actually made out of railway ties, giving you the most authentic experience possible.

The exterior of the home contains tons of space where you can hang out and relax. On one side, there’s a cozy picnic table with a grill perfect for outdoor meals, while on the other, you’ll find a charming pond complete with a swing bed for ultimate comfort!

Connected to the actual home is a little front deck that houses an adorable lounge area where you can hang out with your friends and enjoy the view.

The front door is located here as well, taking you inside the most stunning home you will ever see.

Take A Step Inside History

The first thing that greets you as you walk in is the living room.

I think that the rustic style of this space, and the entire home, perfectly fit the aesthetic of the train car. The living room comes with an incredibly soft brown couch and a wooden coffee table located right across the flat-screen TV.

This is the perfect place where you can chill out during those cold nights, cuddled up in a blanket and watching your favorite show.

Connected to the living room is the kitchen.

There is not a single thing I would change about this place.

First of all, the layout is incredible. It allows you to have tons of space while keeping it nice and simple. I mean, it fits a full-sized stove, two sinks, and a fridge. And don’t even get me started on all of the things you could put in those cabinets.

Right across it is a little dining area that is simply breathtaking.

With the table mounted to the wall accompanied with high chairs, it is really easy to forget that you are inside of a home. I mean just look at those adorable windows.

You either might think that you are on an actual moving train, or in one of those old-school diners. Either way, you are guaranteed to have a meal to remember!

Even The Bravest Soldiers Need A Good Night’s Rest

As you make your way to the other side of the train, you will stumble upon the bedroom.

Equipped with a super comfortable bed, you are guaranteed to have the best sleep of your life in this place. Plus, it is a Murphy bed which means you can hide it in the wall when you are no longer using it. This will provide you with additional space for all your needs and desires!

There is also a beautiful wooden dresser that will happily house all your belongings, keeping your things nice and neat.

A small hallway next to the bedroom leads you to the bathroom.

I have to be honest with you, I was pretty shocked when I saw how spacious this bathroom is.

Not only does it fit all of your necessary utilities such as a toilet and a vanity, but you also have a full-sized bathtub. So, if you are in need of some extra relaxation, fill up the bath, make some bubbles, and head down to calm town!

Come on, be honest with me: have you ever seen a home like this? Because I know I haven’t.

Even if we disregard the fact that it was made in an actual train used in a world war, the design of the interior is absolutely incredible.

So, what are you waiting for? Go pack your bags and book your stay. Life is too short not to spend it in cool homes!
