Sharing is caring!

Who said family houses have to be super classic and traditional? Modern family houses are totally on a high right now!

You can’t tell me that if you were to pass by this beauty on the street that it wouldn’t catch your eye and that you wouldn’t turn your head around to look at it again!

I know I definitely would!

Its wooden exterior mixed with white walls gives a nice, simple look to its otherwise fun shape of the place! Balance is key, isn’t it?

Neutral Colors But Make Them Super Fun

As we enter the living room, quite a minimalist room with black and white design awaits with some absolutely stunning decor!

Sleek white couch and a cool white chair are excellent for hanging out and enjoying your day. Am I the only person who feels even more fancy when in a cool room with cool decor? I’d feel like the fanciest person ever in this area then!

My absolute favorite thing, however, is the gorgeous painting above the couch! The black and white flower painting gives some more life to the room while still keeping that b&w theme!

Over in the kitchen, another painting graces this room however this one steps out of the b&w zone! On it we can see a beautiful sunset matching perfectly with the tiles under the white cabinets!

Orange, beige and gray tiles take on a main role of giving this room some fun pops of colors, alongside the painting I’ve mentioned and the marvelous orange chandelier!

I’d just love cooking in this kitchen! Working on an island with a white countertop with most of the other furniture being white is always super fun, it makes me feel like an artist!

Window Gallery Wall Is A First

Now, paintings may be stunning art pieces, but when you put your artsy cap on you think of even more ideas for ways to decorate your house!

A really unique way is with windows! Yes, you heard me right!

Sure, they let in a good amount of natural light and we love them for that. They also allow for the most beautiful views! But, when placed in a fun way and in different sizes, it can seem as if they themselves are art pieces!

In the bedroom, floor-to-ceiling windows allow even more sunlight to get inside! In fact, one entire wall of the bedroom is just windows! Imagine waking up and being able to appreciate the gorgeous outside scenery right away as the sun graces your room!

The room is quite spacious too, so you have so much room to personalize it to your liking! Of course, you can keep it the minimalist beauty it already is, or add some cabinets, shelves, plants or photos! It’s all up to you!

Oh, and one more thing! One of those “windows” is actually a door! Yes, you can go outside straight from your bedroom!

Ah, isn’t that lovely for getting some fresh air in the mornings?

Even the bathroom has a view! Step inside the glass shower with dark tiles and you’ll be able to see some outdoors scenery!

Cozy Backyards Are Always The Way To Go

What’s a family house without a backyard?

Whether it is for kids running and playing around, or for adults drinking coffee and reading newspapers, backyards are always a hit!

It’s already equipped with dark colored sofas and a table, the only thing missing are some yummy drinks, snacks and fun company!

Oh, and you can see the windows gallery from here! Doesn’t it look super cool from the outside as well?

I’d love to make a gallery wall like that! I never saw one like it!
