A stay in such a luxurious log cabin is a memory in the making.
Unlike your standard log cabins, the Tranquil Ridge is more of a mansion in the middle of nowhere, promising one incredible stay.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think it’s a small hotel only chosen ones know about.
Well, it’s not far from the truth, because only people who appreciate the rustic feel of the cabin should come and stay.
The angled walls and the deck following them around is not something you see in every log cabin. This is what makes the exterior of the house so unique and inviting.
It’s really not a big deal in terms of architecture, but it’s such a great twist that adds that special effect everyone’s after.
The house is full of angles and slanted walls, but the ultimate comfort doesn’t lack.
When you come before the property, you’ll notice the spacious deck and the luxurious hot tub on it, guaranteeing you something fun to do around.
The house is pretty private so your hot tub party won’t have any uninvited visitors besides the squirrels on the trees.
The first thing you’ll see when you come inside is how spacious and bright the space is. It is a cabin, but there’s so much space you’d be surprised. The ceilings are high, and that really elevates the room and makes it appear visually bigger.
The ground area is an open space concept with a living room, a formal dining area, and a classic big kitchen.
I absolutely adore the contrast between the wood on the ceiling, walls, and the floor, and the grey and white furniture combination. Normally, I love when everything in cabins is rustic, but this clash of contemporary and classic works pretty well, don’t you think?
The central point of the ground floor has to be the fireplace. It’s an accent piece made of stone that adds a rustic feel to the room and turns heads around. I have a soft spot for fireplaces, so whenever there are some in the house, I know I’ll have my eyes glued to them.
A standard American classic, the pinewood kitchen cabinets with black countertops and a double-door fridge are what you’ll find in this cabin. I don’t like it when the kitchen in the house I’m visiting is too small and limiting. Give me a big kitchen because I cook big meals for my family wherever we are.
This standard beauty fits so well with the rest of the cabin. I wouldn’t trade it for any other modern-kind cabinets.
The formal dining area is right next to the kitchen and it’s got the best view in the house! Talking about a dinner with a view. Just imagine this place under the snow blanket. The lights inside are all on, the delicious food is on the table, your family is around, and the atmosphere is simply impeccable.
I don’t know if it’s the combination of vintage wood chairs and the cabinet next to them that makes this part of the cabin so pretty or the piercing blue sky peaking through the windows behind!
Climb Up To The Dreamland
I had to virtually run up those pine stairs to check out the bedrooms. There are three of them and all three are so beautiful. You can tell the person who did the interior design in here had some really good taste. Okay, maybe just the same taste as I have.
I mean, this bedroom is to die for! How lovely is the contrast between the wood and the blueish-grey? It’s such an unusual combination that works out so well and inviting.
I know, I wanna jump into that bed too and sleep until I don’t know what century it is!
Everything’s so nice and cozy, so simple, elegant, and charming. As I like to say, it’s all wrapped up in shiny paper with a bow on it!
I love how they kept the all-natural floors and walls throughout the house instead of combining them with furniture to make the place more stylish.
The bathroom does have some modern elements, but you still have the feeling you’re bathing in a cabin in the woods.
Especially when you’re taking a bath in that soak-in right next to the window! Take the shade down if you don’t want the bear to see you, the-hee!
Where The Fun Never Ends
My defnition of fun is making s’mores by the fire and hanging out with my family, just doing nothing. I guess that’s just because we all lead an active life and rarely get the chance just to sit and do nothing.
This fireplace and the lounge next to it would be the place where you could find me. But, I know there are people who want real fun fun and things that will keep them busy.
The can skip the fireplace lounge and move right…
… to the entertainment room!
Every house should have one of these babies!
My kids have their own entertainment room, but we sure are lacking an entertainment room for the adults.
This cool sanctuary for grownups comes with a nice library (yay for me), an air hockey table, a ping pong table that can be placed on top of the air hockey, a small bar, and a poker table!
The room is R-rated and guests can really have their way here, unwind, and forget about daily worries.
Outside is fun too!
There’s a sauna in a round house on the deck, right next to the hot tub.
You can sweat inside as much as you want and then take a dip in the hot tub, soaking away all your worries.
There’s also a grill out on the deck so you can have a little barbecue party and then enjoy your meal on the deck with the most gorgeous view of Georgia forests ever!
The Tranquil Ridge cabin in Epworth, Georgia is a real, polished gem tucked away where only a few people can find it. It’s a sanctuary well-thought-through that offers the ultimate forest experience with a modern twist.
