Discovering Serenity And Unwinding In A Tiny House In Tennessee

Discovering Serenity And Unwinding In A Tiny House In Tennessee

Sharing is caring!

Coziness and serenity wrapped up in the shiny paper that is this house. Yeah, that’s the best way to put it!!

We’re all looking for charming and peaceful getaways, but we rarely ever succeed in finding the ones that are truly so calm and relaxing.

Everyone’s promising a hideout with nothing but nature around you. But, when you come to the spot, you notice you’re not alone: there are neighbors there too!

I get skeptical when someone recommends a getaway, but, in this case, there was something about this tiny house that I immediately bought.

Even from the pictures, I could tell it was a serene place like no other before.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, atop Mountain Moteagle, near Deer Lick Falls, is The Muse- a place that will inspire you!

Wanna know how I found out about the Muse? It was recommended to me by an aspiring author. She came up here for a couple of days to finish her book because she was stuck at the end.

Needless to say, she finished it. The Muse and the property were an inspiration to her.

I mean, would you just look at it? Whoever gave it the name sure was right. I could feel my mind unwinding and boosting my creative juices just by looking at it!

The Muse is a 400-square-foot space of calm living surrounded by trees and nothing but trees!

Although its facade is in grey wood planks complemented with anthracite details, the house does not stick out amongst the trees. It actually blends in well with all its decks, nooks, and windows. What a beauty!

I guarantee it’s even more beautiful on the inside.

A picture to prove it:

Admit it: you were expecting log walls, taxidermied animals, wood, stone, and more wood. Well, I hate to disappoint you, but this setup is WAY BETTER!

The modern charm of the furniture inside combined with white walls and accents elevate the space as the pop of color of the sofa makes appear… simply happier! I get why that author from the beginning of my story was inspired. The whole room makes you feel good about yourself!

The house is a kind of open space with a linear room lineup. The kitchen is overlooking the living room, continuing into the master bedroom.

I’ll be biased here: I have almost the exact same kitchen, except mine has an island. And you bet; I love it!

There’s something about white kitchens with raised panel cabinets that’s evergreen! My mom had a similar one, I have a similar one, and my daughter says she loves it too. Guess we girls are into white kitchens for life.

The master bedroom is in country, shabby chic style, with barn doors, wood planks on the walls, and an interesting wooden headboard. Nothing spells country girl better than such a room.

What’s so great about this bedroom is that it has access to the deck. Just imagine: opening the doors in the early morning so the fresh air comes in as you’re snuggled under the blankets. Oh, when can I come over?

The ground floor also hides a lovely bathroom with details I’d like to bring into my own home.

I love the rustic against the modern, the old end table that could be used for storage against the ultra-modern shower-vanity-mirror combo.

A tiny home wouldn’t be a tiny home without loft space.

Right above the kitchen, leaving extra light for the living room is the gallery with two extra beds. No one said you couldn’t bring friends over while trying to find your inspiration at The Muse.

Floor beds are one my of favorite elements of a cozy home and these two make me wanna take a nap in the middle of the day. You know, that nap that lasts for hours and you have no idea what year it is when you wake up?

Everything about The Muse is so beautiful, from the location to every bit of the house, like the kitchen, the stairs, the sofa, or even the closed deck with a rocking chair.

This Tennessee house was built to help you unwind, relax, and feel inspired by nature and the change of the surroundings. How can you say no to that?
