It Always Feels Like Spring In This Log Cabin In Vermont And This Is Why

Sharing is caring!

When I was a high school student my favorite thing ever was going to the park with my friends and having little picnics. We would spend so much time there snacking on some food, doing each other’s hair and joking around.

Throughout university, the picnics continued although less often, and eventually, we found ourselves as grown ups with no picnic times. I also found myself missing that era. Whenever we meet up it’s mostly for coffee, shopping, restaurants or going out, but never a picnic.

This made me imagine having a place of my own with so much land that I could arrange a picnic any day! They could come over to my home and we could have a picnic then and there!

Well, if I lived in the gorgeous cabin I will show you today, that would be possible. The stunning, Hartland, Vermont, US located home provides not just a big amount of surrounding land but some very cozy interior too! You have to check it out!

These Surroundings Will Leave You In Awe

Since the surroundings are so beautiful, let’s first take a look at the exterior of the house!

On the little deck outdoors, the perfect area for the morning time awaits. You can either choose to rest at one of the two chairs looking at the rest of the land, maybe while having that morning coffee. Or, you can sit at the table accompanied by four chairs, perfect for breakfast!

From this photo alone I already see the most excellent space for those picnics I’ve mentioned! With a little blanket, some snacks and drinks, all of the picnic essentials are already there!

If you’re looking for something a bit different and super relaxing, a hot tub sits just around the corner!

While it would be amazing to spend some daytime in this hot tub, imagine how magical the night time would be! In a peaceful area like this, the starry sky is guaranteed to appear!

Huge Windows Are Always A Hit

Who loves natural light? EVERYONE! And this cabin? It has an abundance of it!

With windows that go as high as the one in the main living area, you will surely be getting sunlight at any time of the day, alongside some magnificent views!

Don’t You Just LOVE This Lounge?

Aside from sunlight, the other thing this home has an abundance of is sitting areas!

If you’d like to be closer to the window, then just sit back in one of the multiple colorful sofas surrounding the table. And, right behind, next to the fireplace is yet another couch in a lovely turquoise shade.

This might be the primary living area but it is not the only one!

An extra hangout room with floor-to-ceiling windows makes sure there’s even more sitting space with its L-shaped couch

Hey, that mini picnic could turn into a huge one and then everyone could come inside for a bit! There’d surely be enough room!

The Classy Kitchen

We all know what’s the most important room of the house before a picnic though, it’s a kitchen of course!

Just grab all of the amenities from those lovely, brown cabinets to make yummy smoothies and chop up the fruits on the island for some refreshing fruit salads! And, you’re ready to go!

However, if what you’re preparing isn’t for the picnic but a lunch, you’ll love the dining room with a big, brown dining table.

I Can’t Be The Only One Obsessed With This Bathroom

Over in the bathroom, the general feel of the cabin continues with the wooden walls and wooden cabinets

In fact, there’s so much wood that you may wonder if everything is wooden! But, it isn’t. The shower options are not (and yes, I said this in plural because there’s more than one!)

Hold On, Let Me Admire The Shower For A Second

The first of the two is this gorgeous glass shower and stone wall which I’m absolutely obsessed with!

I already know showering in here would feel magical!

What’s That Behind The Curtain?

However if you’re a bigger fan of baths, amidst all of the brown wood surrounding it, a white bath hides behind the white curtain, excellent for some nice, relaxing baths.

Cute Little Upstairs Landing

As we go in search of the bedrooms, one more lounge area pops up with a textured couch and a flat-screen TV. Pretty good place to wait at when you’re getting ready to go somewhere and you finish sooner than everyone else, right?

What Would Be Your Bedroom Of Choice?

When it comes to the bedrooms, there’s a couple of options and they’re all very rich in pros and have a big lack of cons, so good luck on choosing the one!

The first bedroom will leave you in awe with the views! The window is sat right opposite the bed so you can wake up and appreciate the scenery right away! And, if you’d like to get even closer to the window, a floral couch sits at the far end of the bed!

Look How Grandiose This Bedroom Is!

Over in the second bedroom, aside from some stunning views, a lovely mini office area awaits in the corner! With a desk and a chair, you’ll be free to work from home! While in the opposite corner, a comfy sofa is already reading to become your next reading nook!

One Night In This Cabin, That’s All I’m Asking

The last bedroom is a little different than the previous ones. The only things it hides are a bed, bedside tables and a window behind it.

However, what makes it so special is the fact that you can turn this excellent space into your dream room! After all, the best canvas to start painting on is a blank one, am I right?

This made me crave for some spring time! The beautiful light coming through the windows and the wonderful area for all of the picnics? There’s nothing better! It’s truly the small things that matter!

Also, I love the different selection of the rooms in this cabin! It’s hard to choose between the one with the scenic views from bed, the one with the reading nook and the one ready to look like my dream bedroom! What would be your choice?
