Come Experience The Magic Of A South Carolina Treehouse, The Perfect Enchanted Nest In The Trees

Sharing is caring!

How would you feel if you were a squirrel for a day?

No, I’m serious, with the bushy tail and a lovely little house on a tree?

Okay, maybe not the tail part, but a house on a tree definitely.

The Carolina Treehouse offers you first-hand experience of being as close to nature as a real woodland creature. This is more than just a sweet getaway house. This is an adventure high up in the trees, surrounded by nothing but tranquility.

It’s a chance to show your inner child the treehouse of dreams you always wanted.

All The Fun Things To Do Outside

North Carolina is full of gems like the Carolina Treehouse. Right in the middle of a Charlotte forest lies a perfect getaway deal, a place you always wanted to exist.

The Carolina Treehouse may be a bit confusing because it doesn’t look like a standard treehouse, but trust me; it is.

Supported by vertical posts and beams, the treehouse is elevated from the ground, thus helping it fit in the category of treehouses. It’s spacious, with lots of activity points throughout the property, and a dash of fun in every corner.

Do You See The Swing Bed?

The house itself is a lovely build with uneven structures, titled rooftops, angled walls, and deck all around it. I find the contrast between the smaller building and the taller one quite effective, adding dimension and interesting factors.

Soon you’ll see that the treehouse is full of amazing things.

I don’t see swing beds as much as I would love to. If you have the necessary space to install one, do it. It’s so much better than just a simple swing. Why sit when you can be lying and chilling, right?

The swing bed is right under the deck and offers a beautiful view of the area before the house.

Sitting Around The Fire Pit

And before the house is a serene pond with a seating spot around a firepit.

I dare you to find a more perfect setup for late summer nights. You won’t be able to, trust me.

If you thought the ground area was fun, wait until you see what the deck has hidden!

The Chill Net You Didn’t Know You Need

At first, it’s a standard deck. But then… Surprise! A net for chilling in the middle of it!

That’s just too perfect for stargazing or simply chilling when you feel it. How many times have you seen a relaxing net hidden in the floor? I’m an interior designer and this is my first!

Grill Party On Sunday, Be There

The whole point of the treehouse is to find your inner peace by doing things you love. The place was designed around the needs of modern people, so you will have your standard equipment like the grill or lounge chairs on the deck.

I wouldn’t mind grilling up here for a second, despite not being a huge fan of the grill. Normally, I’m the one prepping everything, and letting other people finish what I started. I guess it’s the view and the surroundings that make anything about this treehouse so special.

And The Surprise Is…

Still, these things I mentioned aren’t what makes the place stand out from the rest. There’s something even more spectacular about this deck!

An outside shower!

They say it’s so much more fun showering outside than inside. I’ve never tried it before, but this shower sure looks nice.

Completely built using wood planks, it’s got your standard mixer with a rainfall head and a handy shelf for your cosmetics. And, brace yourself… It’s the only place you can take a shower here. The indoor bathroom does not have a tub or a shower. How adventurous!

Some may find this a bit unusual, but you gotta live a little!

The Interior With Vintage Charm

Believe it or not, vintage is one of my favorite styles when it comes to decorating a house. I’m not as contemporary as you might think with my ideas of container homes and simple and sleek lines.

I strongly believe that vintage has more soul than anything else. I was so surprised to see the inside of this treehouse decorated like it’s 1950s again.

When you step through those double doors, you instantly notice a bed in the corner and almost hear it calling your name.

Of course, it’s all one big room, without any living room area, because you don’t really need it with all those lounges outside.

The walls are teal blue wood planks with white ceilings against light hardwood floors. It’s a mess I never thought I’d like so much! It’s super happy and vibrant in here, ensuring positive energy.

The bed is, much like the rest of the house, a rather unique piece of furniture. It’s a white wicker bed with a tall headboard and curved sides.

Wooden Masterpiece

The view from this little bedroom nook is an absolute stunner! The first thing you see when you open your eyes is the light coming from a skylight window above you, and then this lovely masterpiece of wood slice art.

Lots of details in here are either real wood or wood-colored.

Oh, It’s A Cobalt Blue Beauty

The cobalt blue thing peaking in the background is the kitchen. I bet the smell of fresh coffee travels through the room to the bed in the morning and gives the best wake-up call possible!

The kitchen is more like a kitchenette with a stovetop, a small fridge, and some dishes.

You don’t need much in here if you want to relax. The grill is right out there, and you can always whip up something simple. The focus should be on experiencing the place, not spending time cooking five meals a day during your stay.

I gotta say, this kitchenette is everything! I don’t know whether I love the blue hexagon tiles on the floor more, the cabinets, or the floating shelves. It’s a beauty for sure!

The Nook By The Door

Like I said earlier, the treehouse doesn’t have a living room. What it does have are these chairs by the window and next to the entrance. They can either serve as a small reading nook or even a spot to have a quick breakfast.

Right across from the chairs is the bathroom.

Seriously, No Shower Inside

No, I wasn’t kidding earlier; it does not have a shower or a tub. You’ll have to hold that morning concert outside on the deck.

The blue continues in the half bathroom too. I’m a big fan of how this turned out. The blue accent wall makes things pop in place. That round mirror would look just sad on a plain white wall.

Adding decorations and shelves seemed like a good idea because now this bathroom looks super stylish, neat, and eye-catching!

Here’s The Shower

You have to get cleaned somewhere, right?

Rest assured, even squirrels don’t see you out here.

This treehouse is nothing like other tiny houses. This is a place that focuses on becoming one with nature while remaining in your comfort zone. And this is definitely a place for me. If you share a similar energy with yours truly, then you gotta book it!

I’m already checking when my next free weekend is so I can spend it in this treehouse, acting like that squirrel from the beginning of my story. LOL
