Life has been so busy for everyone lately. Whoever I talk to tells me that they need at least one weekend of rest from the city life. Have you also been thinking about a cozy, little getaway recently? Maybe at some cabin in the woods?
Well, do I have the perfect place for you. The brown, wooden exterior of this house makes it look like it comes from a movie. But it’s not a movie house! It’s real and set in Sweden Township, Pennsylvania, US.
The outside of the house itself exudes such warm vibes, and I can’t even imagine what’s it like inside of it.
In charge of that cozy feel outside is the lovely porch. I can already picture a cute couple sitting on the two red, rocking chairs. It’s an amazing place for some hot morning coffee to start the day.
Cozy Up In This Warm Living Room
Considering the brown, wooden walls and highly promising exterior, it is not surprising that the interior keeps that cozy vibe as well. In the middle of the wall is a very big window, perfect for allowing natural light to come in.
Fun little detail is the window above. It is in the shape of the moon! Imagine how pretty it looks outside during the night when the lights are on!
When it finally comes time for some relaxing, get comfy on this L-shaped blue couch. The pillows match the aesthetic of the cabin so well with the deer antlers pattern. I actually love that pattern so much, I want one of these pillows!
Wooden Pieces As Far As The Eye Can See
In the corner of the room, a small wooden table is excellent for some board games! Bring a good selection of games and get to playing! How about a round of Uno!, I haven’t played that in ages!
The kitchen is a wooden heaven as well. From the ceiling, to the cabinets and the countertop. I would love to make a tasty dish here. A warm soup would be excellent for a place as cozy as this one.
My warm soup would not be able to get any colder as the dining area is a part of the kitchen. It consists of the cutest built-in little table and black bar stools. I love this little corner!
This Is The Coolest Staircase In Any Cabin Ever
Before heading upstairs, you have to take a look at this gorgeous pair of steps! This black, spiral staircase is so modern, yet in this house it manages to keep that simple, homey vibe!
The Cozy Nest
The upstairs bedroom is so inviting, it makes me wanna lay down on that bed immediately. The bedsheets with the pattern of trees and a house look a lot like this cabin’s exterior, I love that! And they match perfectly with the rest of the room.
In fact, this entire room has some fun ‘tree’ details. The lamp on the bedside table has them all around the shade, and the photo above the bed does too!
Although this would be a nice little getaway weekend, I already know there’s people out there who just can’t get away from their work. So for all of those hard workers, a nice little office area is set in the bedroom.
With a desk, a lamp and most importantly, a window in front, this little work area has everything you’d need. Beware though, it will make you want to work from there full-time!
Speaking Of Nighttime
There’s a reason why this cabin is also known as the Moonlight cabin.
When the night falls, and lights go on, the crescent moon window illuminates like a part of a fairytale, making the cabin look too stunning to handle.
It’s A Perfect Place For Any Time Of The Year
If you arrive during warmer months, you will certainly enjoy the backyard’s fire pit for the barbecue! With four brown chairs all around it, you can take your time preparing a nice feast.
And when it’s all done and ready to be served, this red dining table with two benches awaits. I’m sensing a nice little barbecue party already being planned! Or maybe I should say, I smell it coming!
The Snowy Fairytale
And if you arrive during the cold, winter months, prepare to enjoy the snowy fairytale. With snow all around this big land, it will look like something from a dream.
This really is the perfect weekend getaway house, I’m thinking of going there as well.
But I can’t decide, should I go during warm or cold weather? It’s perfect for both! Hmm, what would you recommend?
