The Only Thing This Cottage Is Missing Is You Sipping A Pina Colada On The Porch

Sharing is caring!

Do you like cocktails? Oh, I bet you do! And I bet you’re gonna love the following little house I’m about to show you.

No, it’s not a secret cocktail place and it really doesn’t have anything to do with drinks other than its name.

You’re invited to Pina Colada, a cottage where the only thing missing is you sipping the same cocktail on the porch, swinging into sunset.

Come Closer, You’re Welcome

Welcome to Landrum, South Carolina, a place where the Pina Colada Cottage is nestled. It’s such an unusual name for a house that’s not on the beach shore, but we’re not judging. Everybody needs a sip of pina colada sometimes!

The tiny cottage welcomes you with its rustic fence around the property, the typical white beadboard exterior, and the porch that belongs in stories.

If you step closer, you’ll see even more beauty of the place!

Porch Like This Should Be A National Treasure

The typical American scene: people swinging on the front porch in their white swings, or rocking in their rocking chairs. Sweet tea is served, the night is falling and the first fireflies are emerging.

Life is good.

I can’t explain how much I love sitting on the porch. And if has a swing set? Even better!

The Pina Colada Cottage is a lovely little place with a porch worth a million. Nothing beats a calm mind relaxing after a long day.

The Simple Elegance That Never Fades

Elegance is in simplicity. You don’t need pricey furniture pieces to make the room appear elegant. Less is always more, and the same applies to this living room.

The open concept allows smooth transitions between different zones. As soon as you step inside, you get showered with the warmth of the place. The living room is the first zone with simple light grey sofas, and evergreen pieces that show one’s got style.

The sofas pair wonderfully with oak hardwood floors. If you lift your head up, you’ll notice exposed beams painted in white. They create the illusion of a larger space and add airiness points to the room.

The kitchen is in the back with a small dining bar, so let’s see what’s happening there.

The Cozy Coastal Feeling

This living space radiates coastal charm with its soft pastel tones and beach-inspired decor. The striped armchair invites you to settle in with a warm drink, while the bar stools at the kitchen counter add a casual, welcoming touch.

Bright natural light streams through the lace curtains, highlighting the cozy simplicity of the wooden floors and clean white walls. The palm tree artwork and light turquoise accents complete the relaxing, breezy vibe, making it the perfect retreat.

The Burst Of Colors

I have one question for the owner of this house: where did you get a turquoise stove?

I’m absolutely crazy about it! It’s fairly easy to find smaller appliances in such vibrant colors, even the fridge too, but the stove… I would never think of having one painted in a certain color other than white, black, or stainless steel.

The kitchen is such a happy place, and I don’t mean that because of the meals behind whipped up here. The moment you see it, your face turns into a large smile and you can’t but feel happy for being in such a room.

If this kitchen doesn’t make you wish you had a pina colada in your hand, nothing will. Its colors are totally vibing with the name of the cottage and the cocktail!

The Soothing Beige

Beige always works as a soothing color for me. I don’t care if the blue or green relaxes the exes. My eyes relax looking at beige stuff. And my body relaxes snoozing on such comfy beds.

The bedroom in the cottage doesn’t have any turquoise details, but it still reminds me of a pina colada with its creamy beige shade.

It’s just the place you need to crash down after one too many cocktails!

That’s One Way To Stay Unique

The entire cottage is one unique place. But, you gotta add more details to help it  stay that way.

The bathroom is usually a pretty simple room in the house, but when you add some interesting items, it brings out a whole new world.

The bathroom in the cottage is a small one, but still fits all the necessities and has some lovely bonuses, like the upcycled old metal basket given a new life as a towel shelf!

Meet Me Outside

All the colors are outside!

Well, they are now when we have such bright and cheerful lounge chairs. The turquoise obsession continues.

Technically, this area belongs to Landrum’s communal property, so you can encounter other visitors too. I never say no to chatting with people and getting to know them. And, when everything happens around a bonfire, even better!

Maybe you’ll forge some new friendships? You never know!
