It’s you, green pastures, and nothing but the blue sky above you!
How does that sound for a quickie getaway trip?
For me, vacations, even the shortest ones are about spending time somewhere where my batteries could recharge and I can stop thinking about my daily life.
Lots of people these days pick cabins, big or small, as their ultimate getaway locations. They’re snuggly, private, cozy, and relaxing. And when you combine the pristine location and a charming building, things become even better.
I can hardly think of a better place to escape for the weekend than this small cabin in
Ponca, Arkansas.
It’s a classic build with rustic touches, a nothing but flat green fields as far as the eye can see! Just the idea of waking up here, stepping outside with a cup of coffee in your hand, and your lungs full of fresh air sounds wonderful.
I bet it’s even better in person.
The cabin is actually the only thing in the area and the aerial view of the property and the nature surrounding it is incredible! Makes you wish you could run as fast as your legs can carry you and scream on top of your lungs: I love it here!
The inside of the house had to match the breathtaking outdoors.
With only 452 sq ft, the cabin is an undiscovered little gem of Arkansas. There’s only one bedroom so don’t tag along anyone but your partner in crime. Remember, you deserve to rest and recharge on your own sometimes, especially you, moms!
I feel like I should give a round of applause to the architect of this house because they kept what’s really important and incorporated it into the house. This cabin isn’t a shutdown one. It’s open to picturesque views outside and that’s just amazing!
The living room faces the right side of the property through a gigantic picture window. Frankly, I wouldn’t even use that TV in the corner. The window would be my TV!
The living room and kitchen are one open concept which creates an easy flowing feeling throughout the house. There’s a traditional kitchen, fully equipped, and a kitchen island for dining. And that’s so much more than you find in regular cabins. This beauty is nothing like the cabins you’ve seen before.
Although the common area is open-concept, the bedroom is secluded, providing even more privacy and ensuring you rest completely.
And it’s also my favorite room in the house! No, it’s not because of the rustic-looking bed, or the pine wood planks on the wall. It’s the view! Oh, it’s always the view!
I honestly don’t know if I would even consider getting up when I have such view welcoming me first thing in the morning.
But, I guess I’d have to because this Arkansas cabin has a terrific feature outside, and it’s not the pond you’ve seen earlier.
Taaa-daah!
It’s a hot tub out on the porch overlooking the pond and the nature around it. A hot tub with a view worth millions!
Normally, cabins do have hot tubs to make your stay more entertaining, but they’re usually hidden somewhere in the back or on decks where you can have privacy.
Since this cabin is the only man-made thing in the area, you don’t have to worry about being seen while soaking your troubles away in this baby.
This is the place I think of when someone mentions a quick getaway trip without civilization around you.
This is the place where nothing but the calmness of nature wraps around you.
And it’s a place where you’re being put in the first place. Just you, bright sky, and green as far as you can see!
