Relax And Disappear From The Fast World With This Not So Traditional Cabin

Relax And Disappear From The Fast World With This Not So Traditional Cabin

Sharing is caring!

Sometimes, running away from civilization is the only way to truly relax and rewind.

Luckily, there are numerous insanely talented designers who have dedicated their time to creating stunning cabins that will melt away all your stress as soon as you step inside.

From massive, luxurious cabins, to those minimalistic ones, there is a space that will accommodate everybody’s taste.

One such cabin is the Bruny Island Hideaway, a contemporary getaway that will provide you with a vacation for both your body and mind.

Not Your Typical Cabin

When you find yourself in front of this incredible cabin, you might be shocked as it doesn’t have that traditional exterior.

It is not a huge, brown log cabin with tons of small windows and a porch. The design of this cabin is more modern with one tall wall that ends in a sloped roof.

Even though some of the walls are made of tin, the designers still kept the traditional wood when creating the entirety of the interior.

The cabin has two sliding doors on each side of the house that opens up to two exterior decks. This not only doubles the interior space but also gives you the sense that you are one with nature.

One of the decks has a little built-in bathtub, providing you with the most relaxing spa day of your life.

An outside spa day? Never tried one, but I sure wish I can!

It May Not Be Big But It Has Everything

As you make your way inside, I guarantee that this cabin will completely blow you away with its unique interior.

Not only is everything made out of wood, but it also has no loose furniture! Meaning that every single piece of this cabin is built into it, making it a coherent whole.

For example, the cabin features a daybed. It is an elevated space with a little table in the middle and comfortable cushions around it.

Loving The Living Room Nook

Traditionally, this would be your living room.

However, what’s cool about this little nook is the fact that its wall is replaced by a huge window, allowing nature to lunge and relax with you!

It also has a lot of shelves surrounding it, allowing you to have all of your belongings at arm’s reach.

Blend In With The Kitchen

Across this day bed is the kitchen.

What surprised me most about it is how much space it has. The numerous cupboards and shelves will provide you with enough storage to place a two-month worth of groceries.

So get everything you could ever need, forget about all those silly grocery lists, and enjoy!

This kitchen also has every appliance you could ever need including an adorable fireplace, making the entire cabin nice and toasty on those cold nights.

Climb Up To The Stars

Located right next to the day bed is a ladder that takes you up to the loft.

Here, a full-sized bed proudly waits for your tired body so that it can take it away to dreamland the second you step on board.

The low window will provide you with all the necessary stargazing for those nights that you want to stay up longer. But, not to worry, if you also like to lay in bed when the morning comes, nature will be sure to wish you a very pleasant morning.

I mean, just looking at that bed from my screen unclenches my shoulders and relaxes my mind. Imagine how much better it is when you are actually there.

The Sink That Takes The Cake

When it comes to bathrooms, many tend to skip over them thinking that they are not important.

However, I believe that they are just as important as the living room. A hot shower will relax you just as much as a cozy little nap.

When it comes to the design of this bathroom, it is truly breathtaking.

Not only does it stay with the minimalistic theme with its gray interior and invisible shower, but the design of the vanity area deserves a moment for itself.

A huge mirror stretches across an entire wall with a faucet directly below it. The comes a little shelf that is long enough to store every single toiletry you decide to bring. However, what I find truly fascinating is the sink.

Designed like a little bowl held up by a stool, it will not only fascinate you with its appearance but it will make you wish you had one just like it!

I sure did!

Enjoy The Simple Things

Places such as these make me want to pack my bags, book the longest stay possible, and enjoy those little quiet moments that we often take for granted.

So, if you are like me and need a place to relax and recharge your batteries, this truly is the perfect place to do exactly that.

Even with its simple and minimalistic design, this little space will provide you with the time of your life.
