As I became older, I finally understood why nomads are nomads. The freedom of moving your house anywhere you want it, waking up in a different place every morning, and experiencing the thrill of something new is becoming more logical to me.
Traditional nomads still live in deserts of far lands. But, modern nomads are around us, present every day, in their constant pursuit of adventures and living for thrill.
And they don’t travel with horses, buggies, carriages, or camels.
They have this:
A THOW!
For those of you who have just joined us, THOW stands for tiny house on wheels. It’s a relatively new concept of living that adds excitement to your life.
THOWS are quite small, but there are still slight differences between them. This one here is actually spacious inside and can accommodate two people easily without them feeling tight in the space.
This THOW comes with a lovely traditional exterior in light grey and white wood plank facade. There are white trims everywhere around the fenestration, and the gable work is just too adorable! The tiny house looks like a fairytale cottage you could only dream of.
And the inside is equally charming and beautiful as the outside.
The space in a THOW is limited so you need to work smart and figure out what you really need. Of course, a living room is a must, but you don’t really need two more sofas. One will be just enough to unwind when you need it and even host guests.
The one thing that makes me like the interior of this THOW is the window work, especially around the living room nook. So much natural light comes in, it’s wonderful! It’s crucial to introduce light colors in tiny spaces to make them appear more spacious. That trick surely worked in here.
A few steps away from the lovely grey sofa is the kitchen, a full one, not just a kitchenette.
The light grey cabinets with raised panels and black handles are too beautiful, but the real superstar is the white farmhouse sink – an absolute beauty! Along with a couple of open shelves and a window with a view, this kitchen is more than just a place where meals are being made.
When you plan cleverly, you can have it all.
Although the room is compact, there is still a possibility for a tiny dining nook/ office space. You don’t buy THOWS to host incredible parties. You buy them for yourself, to enjoy small spaces and big things.
Right down the hall is the bathroom, and a nice one, not just a pocket-sized one.
A walk-in shower would be a nice option too, but to go with the rest of the home, the designer chose this incredibly beautiful soak-in tub! It fits the whole traditional chic concept of the house AND it can be converted into a shower once the curtain is on.
I love how the light color palette with dominant white continues in the bathroom too creating a clean and fresh appearance.
Using white wood siding and white dominant pieces such as the bedding in this bedroom loft creates an airy feel. On top of that, the skylight windows let in lots of natural light and wrap up this loft space so neatly with a lovely bow.
When you have everything you could wish for fits in a couple of square feet, you can consider yourself a truly lucky person. The luckiest you’ll be if you move into this charming little THOW.
