A Weekend Retreat In Nature Is Even Better In A Gorgeous Modern House

A Weekend Retreat In Nature Is Even Better In A Gorgeous Modern House

Sharing is caring!

We all wish to have a nice house outside of the city, surrounded by nature, that we can visit on weekends or on vacation. Plenty of times those places include tiny houses such as cabins. But, what about the people who want that relaxing atmosphere, while still keeping it modern?

I have the perfect house for situations like that! Take a look at this beauty which gives off both “earthy” and “modern” aesthetics as soon as you see it! Its brown and white exterior matches perfectly with the surrounding nature.

As someone who loves quiet and peaceful places, but cannot let go of that modern vibe – I’ve been intrigued by this house since I first landed my eye on it. So without waiting any longer, let’s go inside!

Glass Walls Make A Room Airy And Bright

The first room that we will walk through is the living room and wow, is it gorgeous! It has floor-to-ceiling windows which is always my favorite thing because you get so much natural light!

The window actually isn’t only a window, it is an opening to the balcony! The view from this room is absolutely breathtaking!

I’m obsessed with this circular brown table in the middle. I can immediately imagine myself drinking some matcha latte here, while relaxing on the gray couch that surrounds it.

Balcony With A View Is Just A Few Steps Away

The balcony holds a big, brown dining table with benches. You can choose whether you’d like to spend your mornings there drinking coffee, or, maybe you’d have lunch outside when the weather is nice.

Some would even use this as a working space for when they work from home! The scenery from this area is simply too beautiful that it’s hard to stay away!

A Paradise For Minimalism Lovers

Moving over to the minimalist oasis of this house, the kitchen and dining area! The cooking area is a mix of black cabinets and a white island. I’m pretty sure that’s a sign that it’s time to get there and cook some tasty food, that way you’d bring some color in!

The dining room breaks the black and white pattern with the brown dining table set under this beautiful modern lightning. I know so many lunches will happen at that balcony with the perfect view, but this area is no less amazing!

One thing I love about this room is the shelf next to the table! You can opt for decorating it with similar minimalist pieces, or you can use it for a spark of color and display some vibrant art!

The Lamp That Changes The Room Vibes

The bedroom also has that minimalist aesthetic, however I’m also sensing some retro vibe here. This beautiful blue chair in the corner, the wooden bedside table, and the low-hanging lamp just take me back a couple of decades. Pair it up with the green rug and we’re back in time!

The Corner Window That’s Better Than The Entire Bathroom

Stepping out of the retro zone, we are back in the 2020s with this modern bathroom. This room has such a perfect black and white balance. White tiles on the wall versus black tiled floor. Black cabinets versus white countertops. Such excellent gradient layering!

However, the white color takes the win thanks to the stunning white bathtub. My favorite part of the room, though, is of course the huge mirror! Doing my makeup and hair here would be so much fun!

There you have it, the myth has been destroyed. Getaway places in nature can indeed be modern houses too and not just small places.

In fact, this is an excellent modern house. It would make perfect sense if whoever made this their weekend getaway, ended up turning it into their full-time home. But, before you do, can I rent it for a little bit? I’m loving it way too much!
