Have you ever found yourself watching a movie set in some old and rustic location and thinking to yourself “Hey, I think I could actually try living there!”
While for some people it’s a regular thing, for others it would be a new challenge. Either way, rustic cabins are surely a great space to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy something more peaceful.
So, why not try out living somewhere like that?
Here, I found the loveliest little cabin in Kennerdell, Pennsylvania, US which I’m sure can change things from a “new challenge” to a “loved home”!
You can’t tell me that this living room isn’t screaming “rest and relaxation”!
I can already imagine me and my loved ones spending time on these off-white couches, drinking tea in the mornings and talking for hours on end.
I’d love to spend some time solely by myself here too! It would be amazing to sit in that chair next to the fireplace and exercise my brain by doing some crossword puzzles or reading.
And might I just add how much I love the fact that there’s windows all around? When the surroundings are peaceful and calming, having the ability to appreciate them is heavenly!
Over in the kitchen, the atmosphere is pretty similar.
While you’d find yourself having an oven and a microwave which you might not find in some super old movie that possibly inspired you to try out cabin living, they’d be of an amazing help!
Just imagine how many delicious meals you’d be able to make with all of the amenities hiding in these brown cabinets!
Since you’d be trying out rustic living, maybe you could try out some older or traditional recipes, perhaps something you’ve learned from your grandma! Or, you could add a slight hint of modernity with something very new and experimental!
This bedroom might be one of my favorite places in the entire home!
There’s just something about it that makes it feel so warm and cozy! It holds a big bed, a chair in the corner accompanied by a mini, brown table and a window with white curtains, but it’s more than enough!
It’s making me want to spend time here daydreaming, resting my mind and for some reason it’s even inspired me to write a letter. Remember letters? Now that’s been a throwback ever since all the social media sites started coming up!
This isn’t the only bedroom in the cabin though!
If you’d like to feel as if you’re on an even bigger getaway and in your own little space, you’ll love this loft bedroom that feels like a little nook!
To top it all off, the bathroom doesn’t stray away from the rustic feel of the cabin either and perfectly matches the rest of the place with the wooden and white details. The wooden walls and cabinets perfectly match the white sink and shower curtains.
So, do you think that this looks like a possible “new challenge”, and more importantly, do you see it turning into a “loved home”?
There’s something about rustic homes which brings that feeling of warmth and comfiness, so I won’t at all be surprised if the answer to a question from above is a “big yes”!
Mine would definitely be a “YES”!
