Once You See How Luxurious This Container Home Is You Will Want To Build One Yourself

Sharing is caring!

I firmly believe that our homes should be the best spaces they can be.

Since we spend so much time inside of  them, they have the ability to significantly affect our mental state and overall health.

I mean, let’s be honest; is there anything better than coming home to your unique, clean space after a long day, where you can finally relax and decompress?

That’s why, whenever I see a home that looks thoughtfully designed, I know it’s a space that melts away stress the moment you step inside.

The Sea Containers offer exactly that!

How They Came To Be

If you ever find yourself walking through the woods of Index, Washington, you may come across a luxury container home named The Sea Containers.

The coolest thing about the exterior of this home isn’t that it’s made from two 40-foot containers stacked one atop the other. What’s truly remarkable is that no trees were cut down while building it!

The owner simply placed the containers in the middle of the forest, not disturbing the nature around.

I love it!

Welcome Inside

If the location of this home doesn’t make you believe your stay will be incredible, you’ll be convinced the moment you walk through the door.

The main living area features an open-concept design that makes sure guests could be together at every moment. It doesn’t matter if one of you is lounging on the couch while the other is making dinner, you will always be in each other’s presence.

Speaking of cooking, this luxurious kitchen will make you wish mealtime was all the time!

Every element of this kitchen – from the counters and drawers to the fridge and stove – is black. I don’t know about you, but whenever I cook in an all-black kitchen, I feel like I’m working in a high-end restaurant!

What I love most about this kitchen is the huge window located right above the sink, perfectly framing an old tree outside.

Listen, I may not like doing the dishes, but with a view like this, you’ll never hear me complain!

Sit Back, Relax, And Enjoy Your Stay

Connected to the kitchen is the living room, which, unsurprisingly, stays on the theme of luxury.

If you love chilling with your loved ones while watching shows or movies, you will love this room. It features an incredibly soft couch that proudly stands right across from a flat-screen TV.

And if you thought that was cool, imagine starting a fire in the fireplace located right underneath it.

Watching a Christmas movie while listening to the crackling fire and knowing that snow is covering the ground in a white blanket outside sounds like the perfect way to spend the night if you ask me!

However, if you prefer spending time in nature over watching TV, don’t worry, you can do that too!

The main living room area also features huge glass doors that lead you straight to the back porch.

Making dinner on the grill, sitting around with friends, or simply taking in the breathtaking nature are just a couple of the things you can enjoy in this incredible space.

A Short Trip To Dreamland

On to the bedrooms!

As you climb upstairs, you will find yourself in the main chill zone.

The master bedroom has a really unique and interesting design. It not only houses the most comfortable queen-sized bed you will ever lie on, but also has a sink!

Getting ready for bed will never be quicker – wash your face, brush your teeth, hop into bed and you will be transported to the land of the dreams before your head hits the pillow.

Another element that I simply adore in this room are the large windows located right next to the bed. They make sure that you are constantly enjoying nature, even from the comfort of your bed.

And trust me, the design of the second bedroom is just as stunning.

As you return to the hallway of the second floor, one door leads you to a full-steam shower!

Its modern elements and design, along with the marble bench mounted to the wall, will give you the ultimate spa experience.

But that’s not all – a tiny door right next to this modern bathroom opens to the balcony that houses a hot tub.

Picture this: you turn on some tunes, sit in the steam for a couple of minutes, and then jump in the hot tub right after. Can it get any better than that?

I don’t think so!

I have to admit, seeing how creative homeowners are blows my mind every single day.

You really can’t run out of ideas for homes that will guarantee you the most relaxing time ever.

It’s incredible how such unique designs and thoughtful details transform living spaces into personal sanctuaries that will help you become the best, happiest version of yourself.

It really is the best of both worlds!
