How rich do you have to be to own a mega-mansion on a private island in one of the most desirable (and expensive, YIKES!) parts of the States, Florida?
Well, apparently Bill Gates is rich, because, we, common muggles, could never!
The colossal building comes on a private island with 2.2 acres of land, and even a private bridge that’s the only way in and out.
Whoever buys this will never wish to leave the island again!
Could This Be Paradise On Earth?
It easily could!
The man-made island was created back in the 1930s and up to the early 2020s, it contained an old-fashioned Florida-style villa. Yeah, pretty similar to the Versace one.
A while ago, the island went through a complete transformation. In other words: redefining paradise in the most luxurious way possible.
Could you even wish for more?
The transformed mansion now has a luxurious touch of 11 bedrooms and 22 bathrooms sprinkled across the 21,000 square feet of space, and that’s just the beginning.
The only private island in Palm Beach has a colonial-style home that’s grandiose and breathtaking. The sole entryway makes you admire the place you’re at with incredibly big and old banyan trees.

The house is still on the market, looking for its rightful owner. What’s so interesting is that such kinds of mansions attract both big families and individuals who want to own something unique. Owning this house means definitely owning a unique piece of architecture.

Just imagine you’re playing a game of Sims and you have endless funds. Yes, that’s the kind of home I used to build when I went crazy with money cheats.
As soon as you walk inside you find yourself in a formal living room which is an open concept adjacent to the formal living room. It’s the center of the building. From there on, you can either go into the new, domestic wing of the house or check out the old part of it which contains bedrooms.

The Domestic Wing Is Where The Life Is Happening
What you’ll realize about this mansion is that it has so many seating spots, living rooms that are formal and informal, cozy nooks, and spots to drop down and relax.
The domestic wing has an informal living room right next to the kitchen. Sometimes rich people want to feel like regular folks by eating and chilling out in the same spot of the house.
God, their informal family area is bigger than half of my apartment!
The great thing about the mansion is its proximity to the Intracoastal Waterway and its openness towards it through windows and window walls. The room is nice and bright and the light color palette used while designing it only helps.
The kitchen in the back can be used, but it’s too pretty to be tampered with, isn’t it?
Just kidding!
Behind all that Italian marble are drawers, storage spots, working areas, and shelves containing everything you need for a warm family meal.
Since most rich people have private chefs, I’m sure he or she will enjoy working in one of the best chef kitchens I’ve ever seen, and it’s right behind the main kitchen area.
Almost identical to the main kitchen, the chef’s kitchen has so many prep stations and equipment that a small restaurant could envy it!
The domestic wing has quite a few incredible parts which make me speechless, and this tennis pavilion area is one of them. Basically, it’s a seating area surrounded by windows, right next to the tennis court which is illuminated at night. Sounds too good to be true!

The domestic wing is a part of the villa that pushes people to be active, enjoy life, and create memories. And who wouldn’t like to make memories here?
The mansion has multiple covered loggias as hidden nooks for relaxing while overlooking the pool and the Intracoastal Waterway.
There’s not only one, but two swimming pools, and it’s a debate to decide in which one to take a dip.
The island guarantees a related, yet fun family life. Think of it as a resort in a luxurious location- your own private island!
The Old Wing Is A Place To Unwind
What was left of the original house was transformed into a bedroom wing with guest suits, an office, and a master suite.
Now, I’m not going to show you all 11 bedrooms because that would be too much. And, on top of that, all the rooms are designed in a similar way, reusing the white-grey-marble combo.
I’m gonna show you my favorite spots, starting with the main office.
As someone who works from a small desk in the corner of my living room, this is just too much to handle.
The office has such a terrific view that I don’t know how anyone can get the job done in here.
All jokes aside, it’s a spacious room in light tones, with comfy sitting spots, and a dominating desk in the middle, oozing with good vibes.
There’s a lot of walking going around in this house. Nothing’s too close as you might think. No wonder there are so many rooms inside. I mean, three kitchens, two laundry rooms, eleven bedrooms, and God only knows whatnot had to be incorporated somehow.
The master bedroom is a special part of the wing where luxury echoes against the walls.
I love how the designer added a dash of light blue with the white and the grey to make the room appear airy and tranquil. I know there’s a good night’s sleep guaranteed in this room. It just has to be.
As a real girly girl, I’m always sold on bathrooms and walk-in closets. This particular suite has not only one but two bathrooms.
Marble is everywhere you look! Of course, it’s Italian and only top-notch quality. What makes this one of the most expensive bathrooms in the world is the vein matching of the marble, and it even continues on the drawers and countertops.
I can’t decide whether I love this or not.
For a moment I thought it was too much, but then again… There’s no better way to show how luxurious a house is than dressing it up in marble, especially white with grey veins.
