Oftentimes, the surroundings of the house are just so pretty that we don’t even want to get inside.
We keep spending time looking through the window, at the balcony or a terrace, just appreciating the outdoors beauties. And how could we not? Nature is something beautiful and if we have that blessing of having a home in the most perfect location, of course we will use it!
That’s also the case with the gorgeous cabin I will be showing you today. This lovely home, located in Vilas, North Carolina, US, has so much natural beauty around it that it’s no wonder it’s full of windows and balconies!
However, that doesn’t undermine its interior, as it is just as gorgeous! You have to check this place out, let’s go!
The Views From This Living Room Are Other Worldly
Isn’t the sunshine gracing this living area just beautiful?
I can immediately imagine drinking a hot, morning coffee on this L-shaped gray couch and eating some toast with something carefree playing on the flat-screen TV on the opposite side!
The floor-to-ceiling windows truly add so much more beauty to the already stunning interior. Not only do they allow natural light to get inside, but the views they provide are simply otherworldly!
In one corner of the room, a hanging fireplace decorates the place and makes it feel even more cozy and warm. I’d love sitting on one of those brown chairs next to it and getting lost in some fun book while the fire warms up the area.
While in the other corner, a round, brown table makes space for a tasty, little feast!
And of course, the mention of a feast brings us right to the kitchen!
Oh, The Island…
If you are inviting a bunch of people over and making something more than a casual dinner for one or two, there’s no need to worry with this space!
Aside from the mini, white countertop area around the sink, the island provides so much more room to experiment with your cooking skills!
Private Starbucks!
Oh, and if you’re there just to make coffee and dip cause cooking is not one of your top skills, in the corner of the kitchen stands a little nook filled with “all-things-cofee”!
While some of the things are kept in the blue cabinets, others are placed on the floating, brown shelves!
I love places like this, they feel like a little at-home coffee shops!
Lots Of Surprises
There are lots of surprises in this cabin, and what’s behind that door is one of them.
Ta-daah! The washer and dryer unit are stored safely behind one closet doors. You’ve got your practical demands satisfied and nothing compromises the aesthetics of the house. It’s a win-win!
The Most Spectacular View
However, we talked about the beauties of outside space for this house, right? Well, why not try cooking outside too?
Living area opens up to a deck with the most spectacular views!
On the right side of the deck, a silver grill awaits for some yummy barbecue while the bench and the chairs look like the perfect places for trying out said barbecue!
Are You Hot For A Hot Tub?
And once all the delicious food is gone, you can move over to the hot tub and enjoy the rest of the day. How about watching the sunset from the hot tub? Doesn’t that sound like an amazing idea?
Just One Step Is Separating Your Feast Location With A Mini Waterfall
Guess what? Options for feast locations are still not over!
There’s one more left and it is super special!
The dining room of this house holds a huge, brown dining table with 11 seats. But aside from that, it has some excellent window space!
Above the table, ceiling windows provide direct sunlight on the food! It truly never lacks light in this house!
However, the most spectacular part are the windows on the sides of the room! They actually serve as doors as well, meaning that you can open them and freely roam the outside of the home.
Stones That Add Charm
These doors lead you to the beautiful stone filled area with a small waterfall! Isn’t this unique and insanely beautiful? Wah, I would love to go there!
Its Very Own Private Deck
Over in the main bedroom of the house, the views don’t start lacking and neither does the option of going outside and getting some fresh air as the room has its own private deck!
One more luxury of the bedroom is its own fireplace too! You can cozy up to it in the evening and do some journaling before you go to sleep!
Another Cozy Bed
Not only is that not the only bedroom of the house, but it’s also not the only room with the king-sized bed! When guests come over, they will surely love the room they get!
No Matter Which Shower Option You Choose, The Views Won’t Disappoint
Finally, we reach one of my favorite rooms of the entire house, the bathroom!
It’s already amazing that there’s a choice between a bath and a shower, but the fact that they both have some pretty views is just next level!
If you’re in the mood for a nice & relaxing bath, the white bathtub is already ready with some lovely natural views through the huge mirror placed right next to it!
But, if you’d rather opt for a shower, a glass shower with a ceiling window will allow sunshine to grace you, making you feel as if you’re showering outside surrounded by greenery! I’m just obsessed!
More Space For Sleepover Parties
On the second floor of the house, one more bedroom holds bunk beds for everyone staying here with kids. Or, of course, if you’re having plenty of people over with single people who would much rather stay in bed by themselves than share it with someone else!
The Play Zone
One last space when it comes to the interior of this house is the extra playroom on the top floor!
With a mini L-shaped couch, colorful rugs and a mini kitchen, this is an excellent place for kids to play around! What’s even better is that the windows on the room allow the parents to see everything from downstairs!
Or, you can turn some things around and change this place into your own hobby room or an office area. It’s truly a unique room with many fun possibilities!
One More Thing…
What would a house with otherworldly surroundings be without ending with yet another gorgeous outdoors area?
If you’d like to change it up from staying on the deck of the living room, you can gather outside around the firepit or enjoy some relaxing time on the hammock. This home really has so many outside possibilities!
Well, what would be the outside area you’d most love to visit here? The hot tub on the balcony? The stones with the little waterfall? Or, maybe a little nap in the hammock next to the house? Do let me know!
