The Layout Of This Deconstructed Tiny House Totally Makes Sense

Sharing is caring!

So many people are after the popular Scandinavian style, and yet, so many people fail to deliver.

Having a house decorated this way doesn’t just mean buying furniture at Ikea and keeping it minimalistic. Rarely does anyone fit the theme and bring the real feeling of a Scandi home.

For me, this style isn’t just clean forms and lines. It’s a way of living. If you want a house designed and decorated this way, you have to make it feel like you are there, covered in snow, living close to Santa Claus, and polar bears, and watching the Aurora Borealis.

Make it feel like you know the true meaning of hygge.

Finally, I’ve found a tiny house, a combination of four of them to be precise, that makes it look like it’s not set in Logan, Ohio, but somewhere up North.

This is The Villa Pine by Hugga in the Hills – the coolest escape from reality channeling your inner Scandinavian.

The Reconstructed House That Pulls It Off

I can’t imagine it looking any differently than this!

The beautiful complex of four main buildings, all in black, contrasts the Ohio forest around it and the wood used for the house.

You know how they say for a dish it’s *reconstructed*? Well, this is definitely a reconstructed house, but it totally makes sense. You’ve got your eat-and-play house, then a tiny space behind it that serves as a sauna, and two rest-and-refresh tiny houses with bedrooms.

Fit For Your Crew

And many cool features outside too!

The Villa Pine can fit up to five people. You can either come here with your BFF or partner, or a couple of friends for a memorable weekend. The place is located close to Cedar Falls and the famous Old Man’s Cave. Adventure here is guaranteed!

And the rest inside is guaranteed too!

A Scandinavian Beauty

As you step inside, you’ll find yourself smitten by the impressive living room with an adjacent kitchen and dining area. It’s fully decorated in Scandinavian style, with walls covered in wood planks, wood details in the kitchen and on coffee tables, and a light beige/ grey color palette.

Such A Cozy Feeling

This part of the complex is spacious and easily fits five people who want to take a bite, watch TV, or simply hang out around a cup of coffee. It wouldn’t be right if this room looked a bit different. I simply love all the details here that elevate the room and add extra style points to it.

Black trim doors and windows? Bring it on! They look so expensive against the wood paneling on the walls.

The Place Where Fast, But Yummy Meals Are Being Made

The entire eat and play area looks so pretty, I can hardly pick my favorite thing in here. If I really must, that would be the open shelves in the kitchen. They add dimension and make the kitchen appear bigger and more inviting.

With a kitchen this big, a lovely island, and a dining area, this house almost doesn’t fit the tiny home standards. Spending a couple of nights here, whipping up yummy meals, going for hikes, and sleeping in fortresses of coziness sounds like something my mind and body desperately need.

I’ll Be On The Swing Bed

The living room goes straight out on the covered deck with the prettiest thing I saw today: the hanging day bed.

Excuse me, do you realize how gorgeous this looks? If I ever go to Villa Pine, I know where I’d spend most of my time.

And, I love the fact you can relax on this bed swing even if it rains. Just think of it: the rain is silently dripping from the sky, and you are in the bed swing, inhaling the scent of the wet forest, and enjoying every moment of it.

The Snuggle Center

Got tired of hanging on the deck, but your friends still wanna stay awake? The solution is simple: just walk into one of the bedroom houses.

A great thing about bedrooms in separate tiny houses is that you can go in and sleep whenever you want, without being woken by the noise of other guests staying with you.

The bedrooms are all in wood, from top to bottom, with a king bed in the middle as the central point of the room. The good thing is that both bedroom houses are the same, with the same beds and room layout. You won’t have to fight with your friends who get to pick the bigger or better room.

What’s so special about these cozy cabins is that the bathroom is right behind the wall where the bed is! So unique!

This Mirror… I Gotta Have It!

The bathroom area can be accessed from both sides of the bed. It’s got a nice, big, white vanity with an LED mirror that’s super cool. The mirror has dimmable lights as well as a built-in defogger! It’s definitely one of the best mirrors I’ve ever seen, and, to be honest, mirrors are pretty simple.

Thanks For The Privacy

A great thing about bathrooms is that the toilet and the walk-in shower are in separate cubicles divided by glass doors. This way both privacy and hygiene are guaranteed.

It’s Special, Trust Me

The full Scandinavian mood wouldn’t be without one staple room: the sauna.

This one at the Villa Pine can fit two people and has a special kiuas heather that turns this small room into a hot and humid heaven!

The Gorgeous Outside

When you’re done with sweating, you might as well take a relaxing bath. The Villa has a gorgeous hot tub outside that simply invites you to hop in, grab a drink, and feel how all your worries soak away.

Considering this tiny house complex was designed for more than two people, I love how they thought of everything, especially adding plenty of sitting spots. I know my friends and I would love to throw a BBQ party here because that’s what we love doing on weekends.

I can almost smell the steaks sizzling on the grill, a dash of fresh wind, hear my friends buzzing with happiness, and feel how my body relaxes.

Okay, that’s it! Where do I sign? I gotta get here ASAP or the Scandinavian in me will go crazy!
