Coming Home To Such A Lovely, Dainty House Full Of Comfort Sounds Like A Dream

Sharing is caring!

My friend once told me: When I grow old, if I’m still alone, I want to move into one of those tiny houses, far from everything.

She’s still alone and we all joke about how she’ll definitely end up in a tiny house with a bunch of cats.

The joke even went so far that she asked me to find her one of those tiny homes so she could slowly build it over time.

Well, J., this one is for you! I’ve found the ideal design for you and your cat. Yes, she started with the collection!

All you gotta do is move in and buy a kitty bed or two for the porch and enjoy your lazy retirement sunsets.

The house I found for my friend is the tiniest delight ever.

Picture-Perfect Home

It’s got two porches, one on the front and one on the right side and they both are lovely relaxing zones. I could totally picture her sitting in that round chair by the door, just gazing into the distance.

The house is the picture-perfect white picket fence house we only used to see in the movies or in insanely neat suburbs.

The inside isn’t your classic or traditional style. It’s more of a combination of everything that goes well with modern details.

Hardwood Vs Stone

The place has only 200 sq ft, which is just enough for one person. The entire day zone is an open concept with a tiny living room and a kitchen. The dining area is out on the side porch.

What I love about this room is that the designer incorporated hardwood elements with stone, light colors, and modern pieces such as the fireplace or the round and detailed carpet.

Loving The Idea

Just the idea of sitting here by the fire while it’s raining outside sounds heavenly! I bet J’s cat would love to snooze by this fireplace.

Don’t Forget The Bathroom

There’s also a small bathroom in the back as well as a bedroom. That’s still quite a lot for only 200 sq ft.

The bathroom is a modest one, but a walk-in shower fits in perfectly. I’m sorry, J., soak-in tubs just don’t fit such tiny homes. You’ll have to read your books outside the tub from now on.

Squeeze In A Bedroom

Fortunately, there was enough space to squeeze in a bedroom. Here’s a small queen bed as well as closet space for storage. All in all, this is a pretty fine bedroom, created with style, sweet details such as the pictures above the bed, as well as accents like the white-brick wall.

Finding Your Inner Peace

The tour of this dainty place ends on the side porch.

As I said earlier, the dining area is out on the porch. There simply wasn’t enough space to fit it inside the house.

Still, I think J. would be thankful for this outside seating spot where she could have her meals. I always tend to have at least one meal outside.

The porch is covered and big enough for lots of plants like you see in the photo. My friend loves her plants and this will definitely be the happiest place for both her and them.

I know J. could find her peace in such a dainty little home. And I bet there are other J’s in the world, looking for their snuggly retreats, far from tough lives and disappointments.

I’m a strong believer that a loving home could cure everything and this tiny one absolutely supports my belief.
