It is 2024 and what better time to experiment than right now? Grab your suitcases, pack your belongings and get going on an exciting adventure called a modern shipping container. Don’t worry, I will tell you all about it as we go!
From its exterior you can see that this isn’t an ordinary house. It has a rectangular shape, brown walls and more than half of it has floor-to-ceiling windows! Those windows immediately made me want to check the interior of this place!
And I know what you may be thinking. “Is this place too small?” and “Maybe it’s better as a weekend retreat”. Trust me, it has all of the space you need, and once you see it you will not want to leave when Monday comes!
Also, is that a garden on top of the house? We will definitely come back outside after a little inside tour!
This Is The Cutest Living Area Ever
Take your time to take in all of the beauty of this living room. It is so cute!
This L-shaped couch with blue cushions and some green pillows is absolutely beautiful. Don’t even get me started on the tiny brown table. All I want to do right now is relax on that couch and appreciate the outside scenery.
The outside view is easy to watch thanks to those floor-to-ceiling windows, which are actually glass doors. Just imagine all of the sunlight this room gets!
And anyone who knows me won’t be surprised when I say my favorite thing here. Of course, it’s the shelves! Making your house a home by decorating the shelves is the most fun activity ever!
If I lived here, I would definitely keep the globe there, I’m loving it! A collection of my books would be a must obviously! A couple of photos of my friends and family would look nice. And last but certainly not least would be some potted plants.
Dividing you from the kitchen is the mini dining table. You can enjoy all of the yummy meals you prepare. And, once you’re done eating you can use it as a work desk! It’s so practical!
The cooking area is equipped with all of the needed amenities for your gastro adventures. It is all stored in the brown cabinets, and those white countertops are just waiting for the delicious delicacies to start!
This Bedroom Is So Small Yet So Spacious
On the other side of the container is the stunning bedroom. The huge, comfy bed will make you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud!
And for everyone who worries about space, just take a look at these floor-to-ceiling closets! They are L-shaped and carry so much space for all your clothes and other belongings!
Of course, this side of the container also has the huge glass doors. You never have to worry about having enough light in this space. The views are absolutely magnificent from every corner of the house!
The only place that doesn’t have floor-to-ceiling windows is the bathroom. However, it does have a little window. So don’t worry about those showers with hot water, you can always open it afterwards for some fresh air!
The modern bathroom has a black and white aesthetic and certainly doesn’t disappoint after seeing all these other rooms.
The Most Unique Exterior Design Award Goes To This Place
Now, for something that caught my eye as soon as we got here – the garden on top of the container! You can just climb up and plant any of your favorite flowers. Mini garden on the roof is some next level exterior designing!
When the weather is nice, take all of your blankets and pillows outside and enjoy some warm sunny time. How does a picnic sound?
Well, do you still think this would be better as a “weekend retreat only”? I highly doubt it!
This gorgeous shipping container is absolutely perfect both for people who want to experiment with a new and different home, and for those who want to settle down in something smaller.
I think I will be coming back to this place extremely soon, probably sooner than you think, so don’t wait up too long!
