As a kid, when my parents would say that we’re going on a vacation to the seaside I was over the moon. I always thought that the seaside is the best place ever!
However, over the years things have changed and now whenever I’m in need of some relaxing time and a getaway from the city, I always opt for nature such as the woods or the mountains.
That rest you get in the woods with only sound being the leaves ruffling is like no other!
A relaxing and healing place like that is this beautiful container home located in Ohio, US.
Right from the beginning, the peaceful setting starts with the covered deck and the furnished sitting area accompanied by a little table.
I can already imagine drinking hot coffee or tea in the morning while sitting here and appreciating the beautiful outside scenery.
Actually, there’s one more place which might be even better for that!
It’s the roof of the container!
You can easily climb up to get on the roof and sit at these lovely chairs and have your coffee resting on the mini table.
The views from this place are completely otherworldly and are truly something that everyone has to experience!
As we make our way inside of the house, a beautiful and very light interior awaits us!
White walls and white cabinets make this place seem even bigger, while the brown countertop and the brown shelf break that monochrome look by adding some color!
You can already see some of the cooking amenities on the countertop, now imagine even more that hide inside of those cabinets!
Ah, I’m already thinking of all of the things I’d cook here!
It’d be especially fun thanks to that window above the sink! We love having some nice views while cooking, am I right?
On the right side is a very interesting bathroom.
You see, on the left of it is a toilet, on the right a cabinet with a sink. That all sounds pretty natural, right?
Well, right in the middle of the bathroom is a shower!
Of course, it’s surrounded by the curtains so that the water doesn’t go everywhere and the drain is right below.
What an efficient way of saving up space! It’s definitely not something I’ve ever seen, but very interesting nonetheless!
And finally, the main space!
The comfy couch can actually open up and turn into a bed, transforming this lovely living room into a cozy bedroom!
Opposite the couch, a flat-screen TV guarantees some nice relaxing time with some movies or sitcoms before sleep while the fireplace gets the role of making this place warm in every sense of that word!
However, the absolute best part of this area is the floor-to-ceiling window, which is also a glass door that leads to the backyard!
A fun fact is that the sun sets right at the side of those doors so you can have the most beautiful view of the sunset every day. That’s heaven, in my humble opinion!
Over in the back deck, an outside grill sits in the corner just waiting for someone to plan a little barbecue party, while the hot tub in the other corner already screams “relaxing evening”.
That’s it, I’m definitely packing my bags now!
Cozy and comfy space with beautiful views, especially with the views of the sunset?
