A Couple Built Their Own Slice Of Paradise In A Form Of A Tiny Cabin And It’s Incredible

Sharing is caring!

What started as a tiny log cabin built from a couple of dozen trees from their property, has evolved into a three-story off-grid cabin with a greenhouse attached, all crafted from upcycled materials.

Talk about sustainable living done right!

Remi and Noemi are wildcrafters. They turned minimalism into an art form, blending rustic charm with eco-conscious design. And they’re on a mission, to give back to Mother Nature as much as they can while still living a comfy life in their little cabin slice of paradise!

They started off small, building a tiny house, one log at a time. It took them almost 40 trees from their property to build their tiny cottage. Remi and Noemi pushed their boundaries, made the impossible possible, and started living small.

The ultra-tiny life lasted for five years when something knocked on their door: the chance to upgrade their home into a tiny log cabin.

And boy, did they jump on it!

Upcycled materials became a three-story home along with an attached greenhouse. This tiny cabin embodies sustainable living with its off-grid design, blending seamlessly into the natural landscape.

My favorite thing of all is the greenhouse, which surely adds positive vibes and turns every space into a bright and shiny haven.

Makes My Heart Skip A Beat

When I told you the greenhouse adds so much light to the area, I really meant that. Thanks to its glass walls and roof, the greenhouse is a beam of light, illuminating dark corners of the cabin, making everything seem so warm and welcoming.

The ground level of the cabin is reserved for the open concept including a kitchen, a dining area, and a tiny living room nook. Although this is a tiny house, the space on the ground floor isn’t tiny at all! To be honest, this seems like a house where you could easily live every day.

Oh, well, if only you get pass the all-wood interior. Personally, I don’t have a problem with that. I’d even make that sink a wooden one if I could! The rustic feel is simply too incredible to handle, and the fact there’s a lovely vintage rocking chair in the corner makes my heart skip a beat.

All The Impressive Things

The good news is there are a lot of things that impress me in this cabin.

The bad news is there are a lot of things that impress me in this cabin. I don’t know which one to choose! It’s such a dilemma!

Should I go with the massive and grandiose dining table with gorgeously-carved legs? Should I pick the open pantry on the right with packed shelves? Or should the awesome raw wood countertop be my choice? Or the wood-burning fireplace on the right? Or, or…

Be still, my heart. This room is a heaven for all rustic-lovers. It doesn’t get better than that.

Something You Didn’t Expect

Why do I get the feeling I’m suddenly in Bambi? Is it the neoclassical sofa the one to blame? Or are the woodland wallpapers behind it the reason I feel someone’s gonna light the forest on fire and I’m gonna become the king of it?

My guess: both.

The neoclassical sofa is surely a surprise because I was expecting a leather couch, the ol’ classic one, in its place. But, since the house is a result of recycling, upcycling, and restauration, I kinda believe the couple found this old sofa somewhere and gave it a new life.

Come to think of it, it absolutely fits the mood of the woodland paradise

That’s a bathroom!

This tiny cabin has a small bathroom in the corner. The couple is truly living a sustainable life, so you can guess what their toilet is like. They either use the compost one, or simply go use the outside toilet.

Talk about that raw, unpolished life in the woods, huh?

I mean, when you’re living off-grid, sometimes “nature calls” in more ways than one! But hey, at least they’ll never run out of toilet paper, right? Nature’s got their back!

Smart Solutions For Tiny Places

There are no monsters under the bed. Why? Because they have no space to crawl under. Everything is used to the max!

One of the two bedrooms in the cabin may be small, but it’s big on smart storage solutions.

Take the bed, for instance—underneath, it’s not just a void of wasted space, but a treasure trove of hidden compartments! Whether it’s bins for clothes, boxes for extra blankets, or your secret stash of snacks for late-night cravings, everything has a home.

It’s like a game of Tetris, where every square inch counts. Who needs a closet when you’ve got the storage potential of an entire bed? Talk about using the “space” you have, rather than wishing for more!

Pick Your Bed Side

Now, step into the room that may be tiny but it’s got a view that makes you forget about square footage! With those big windows framing the outside world, it’s like the room expands into the great outdoors.

The natural light pours in, making the room feel warm and open, and all you need is a cup of coffee and a moment of silence to appreciate how lucky you are to have that view… even if the rest of the room is basically one big hug from your bed!

If I had to pick the side, I’d definitely go with the window side so I could be closer to the view first thing in the morning. Oh, and I like to watch the stars as I fall asleep too!

The Thinking Spot

Can you feel this attic vibrating with musical potential? The walls are adorned with just the right mix of acoustic magic and personal flair—perfect for those late-night jam sessions or a little impromptu recording.

The studio setup? Pure genius. Every corner has been cleverly outfitted to maximize the space, from the neatly stacked gear to the comfy chair that doubles as the “thinking spot” for the next big melody.

Now that you see that there are two bedrooms, a cozy living area, AND a studio, this tiny cabin doesn’t seem so tiny anymore, does it?
