How much of a party person are you?
When I was still in my early twenties, in college, a group of friends decided they wanted to rent a pool house for the weekend and just have fun. I didn’t hang out with any crazy kids. My friends were always so normal and nice.
And yes, we ended up having one of the best weekends ever, filled with fun, dancing, eating amazing barbecue, and swimming in the pool.
I still look back at that weekend and refer to it as the best two-day party of my life.
Our weekend house was nothing special, but we loved and appreciated everything about it.
I can only imagine what would have happened if we had a house with a pool like this I’m about to show you!
POV: You’re Having The Time Of Your Life
Amazing features, so many fun areas, and most importantly, freedom guaranteed. That’s how I’d describe this container house.
There’s going off-grid, and there’s going off-grid in style, just like in this getaway container.
The house is actually a combination of three containers arranged around the pool creating a visually private place. Each container is a different activity zone and I love how they separated common areas from bedrooms, ensuring that whoever wants to rest gets its rest.
The first zone is a lounge with some comfy patio furniture out in the sun and a container with an open front side to achieve the unity of space. Rain or shine, you can still enjoy your time here.
There’s a food corner with a pizza oven (wow), a grill, and everything you need to prepare a meal outside and eat it too.
Adding potted plants on the wall was such a lovely idea. Not only it’s incredibly effective, these plants are helpers, giving us back fresh oxygen. If you’re not like me who unalives plants in their first week, always add them into your living space.
The fun zone is right around the corner with a poker table and a bar, so you guys can play all night without bothering anyone. I mean, how many houses does have that? Rarely any, that’s for sure.
The party never stops in such a place. But, surely, you’ll need some rest, right?
The Calmer Side Of The Complex
On the other side of the complex is a typical container house.
It’s a typical open-concept designed in a contemporary style which I absolutely love. The kitchen looks like it belongs in a fancy mansion on top of the hill. Its trendy design with a kitchen bar and some pretty high chairs, and the wood paneling around the cabinets is one of the finest features in this house.
Okay, hold on… That dining table is pretty close to being #1 in the coolest feature of this house. What do you think? I can’t really make up my mind.
Oh, and the living room area too!
When I see a neatly-designed space, I can’t help myself. I love every single detail, every corner, and every color used. The inside of this container is nothing like I expected. I was thinking vibrant colors, some silly designs, and maybe a bit of edge.
But, I didn’t even think it would be so stylish, modern, and a bit luxurious too!
Who’s Got Time To Sleep?
Sleep is for the weak. At least that’s what my husband thinks.
Whenever we go on a vacation, he’s zooming around, trying to do everything on his list, see everything, and create memories. He only sleeps because he has to. I honestly don’t know where his energy comes from.
I, on the other hand, need my sleep, and I need a nice bed or I’ll be too grumpy to enjoy my time off.
I need something like this: a nice, spacious bed, a good view out the window so I wake up naturally with warm sun rays.
Every bedroom is elegant and sleek, with a dash of subtle luxury.
I love how all three of them have great views, of the pool and the surroundings.
Would you look at the color palette in this bedroom? It’s so earthy and soothing, with a sprinkle of traditional details.
I honestly wouldn’t know which bedroom to pick if I were staying here. The third one right here is a super modern spot with a mirrored closet, pretty shades of grey, and a TV on the wall.
And the bathrooms are even lovelier in style if you could say that for a bathroom.
Clean surfaces, sharp lines, neutral colors, and glossy finishes. They all make one breathtaking bathroom.
Going off-grid, enjoying free time, and spending a couple of days with your favorite people in the world sounds like the best party I could think of.
Partying isn’t just drinking hard, dancing your feet off, and screaming on top of your lungs. We all have different definitions of what’s fun.
But, I bet no one could say no to a couple of easygoing days chilling by the pool with no worries in sight for miles.
