This Abandoned Chapel Turning Into A Stylish Container Is An Absolute Yes

Sharing is caring!

Peaceful and relaxing little getaways have always been popular. Who doesn’t like some nature and quiet to recharge, away from the hustle and bustle of the city? But what if that getaway wasn’t in any ordinary place, but in an abandoned chapel?

By attaching this century-old chapel to a shipping container, the most perfect and unique place to rest your mind came to life.

It is surrounded by tons of greenery, miles of nature and woods. I’m sure that just one walk around here would clear my head for the next couple of years.

Hop In To This Black And White World

Upon entering the house, you can see almost the entirety of this beautiful place. If I had to describe it in one sentence, I’d say that this is a black and white heaven, with some wood detail here and there. It is crazy but so cool to think that this modern interior came from an old abandoned chapel.

The first little part is an area with two mini tables and white chairs. It is multifunctional, meaning that it could be used for many activities.

In the mornings it could be a little dining area, perfect for some tasty breakfast and coffee. And in the afternoon it can be a work corner, for all of those people who just can’t stop working even when on relaxing getaways.

But, where does the food for the dining area come from? Moving forward, a tiny kitchen awaits all of those cooking adventures! With its black cabinets and white tiles it matches perfectly with the rest of the container.

Big windows above the cabinets make it possible for you to admire the gorgeous outside area while making your favorite dishes.

At the far end of the container is our favorite cozy place, the bedroom of course. After spending the entire day outside in nature, coming back to this comfy bed in the middle of the room sounds like heaven.

Around the bed, on both sides of the room, is the bathroom. This is the most unique way of dividing the bathroom that I have seen, and I must say I absolutely love it.

Both the toilet and the shower parts kept that black and white vibe with its white tiles and a black toilet. I never understood houses in which the bathroom takes on such a different aesthetic, so I’m very glad to see that’s not the case here and that everything is so connected.

Aside from the thin, floor-to-ceiling windows on the sides of the room, it is great how you can see the opening of the house from your bed. You can just sit up and enjoy the scenery outside.

The View From This Container Is Next Level

When you wish to properly take all of the beauty in, you can climb up the stairs and watch it from the roof. The view from the top of this shipping container is enough to leave you absolutely speechless.

Little white bench and the white table are perfect to sit here and enjoy everything around you.

You can make yourself some tasty smoothie in the morning and write in your diary here. I know my diary would get a life of its own and start jumping out of all the nice things I’d write in it if I stayed in this place. Or, you can get up here when the night time comes and enjoy all the peace.

The Animal Lovers Are Gonna Love This

Animal lovers, hear me out!

Often, you will see chickens, geese and ducks walking around the farm! Oh, they’re so adorable, they would make my day!

But, that’s not all.

You can also see cows here! And, at one point of the year, the farm offers the people who are staying a chance to learn how to milk! I’m obsessed with this house!

I might be a big introvert, but a place like this would recharge me for many years to come.

The century-old chapel turned into a shipping container perfect for some resting time seems like such a good idea. There should definitely be more old, abandoned places that do these kinds of things. I already know they would be booked all year round.

That means that this place is also highly popular and busy, so you don’t want to wait on experiencing this beautiful serenity.
