Big Bertha THOW Shows Everyone That You Can Take Your House Wherever You Go

Sharing is caring!

A deluxe thow that sleeps six? Now I’ve seen everything!

Tiny houses on wheels or thows are super in demand, but they’re usually for a couple of a single person. Never have I ever seen a thow for more people, let alone six of them!

The Big Bertha has nothing to do with the popular howitzer from WW2, but it’s equally massive and impressive. This thow was built by the Indigo River Tiny company from Dallas, Texas.

Unlike most tiny thows, Big Bertha is a 32×10 house with a full-sized kitchen, a living room, a good-sized bathroom, and bedroom lofts.

If you only saw the interior of Big Bertha, you’d think it was a standard house. Still, there are wheels on it, a hook, and everything you need to attach it to your vehicle and head out for adventures.

Just imagine going on a road trip across the States with your little home everywhere you stop.

You turn around, and there she is, in all its beauty and glory!

Big Bertha has an interesting exterior with metal and cedar siding, along with interesting mint details to add some fashionable points.

The house has only one tiny door and plenty of windows that let in so much natural light and help you feel like you’re in a normal house, not a box on wheels.

See how they acted clever and added an extra box for wiring, probably a heater, and other things you don’t like seeing. There’s even an AC unit under it, meaning the thow is 100% modern and liveable in all seasons.

The cozy inside of Bertha consists of comfy areas divided by their purposes. Here you see a tiny living room with a comfy sofa that can easily be turned into a bed for guests staying over.

Those burgundy red throw pillows and the fluffy rug against the grey sofa are to die for!

One of the prettiest things about Bertha is the cherry wood used everywhere, from wall sidings to stairs and banisters. It’s such a lovely wood to use indoors as it’s bright and a bit texturized, elevating the room.

As I mentioned before, Big Bertha has a full kitchen, u-shaped, with tons of storage space and cherry butcher block tops. Basically, you won’t feel like you’re lacking anything in this kitchen as it’s got everything a standard kitchen does.

I just looove colorful kitchen cabinets! They’re usually white, grey, or beige, but that’s a bit boring. Give me colors like these pastel blues and greens, add some contrast, and make the kitchen a vibrant place as it already is!

Big Bertha is so big that they were able to fit in a small dining table and two chairs, and still have plenty of room to move around and even add a spiral staircase for the loft above the kitchen.

This aerial view of the side where the kitchen is offers a good insight into how big Big Bertha really is.

Up those gorgeous spiral staircases is a loft and a Juliette balcony.

The Juliette balcony can also double as a hangout area upstairs. Just add some comfy cushions or a bean bag chair and you’ve got a chill zone where you can listen to music, read books, or simply marvel at the beauty of this tiny house.

The designers of Big Bertha thought everything through and made sure there was storage space for clothes and stuff in bedroom lofts. As you can see, this space can fit single mattresses and thus accommodate more people.

Or, if you prefer your privacy, just figure out something else to do with this loft, because the other one is already reserved for your master bedroom.

I wouldn’t put anything else up here just a cozy floor bed and lots of comfy pillows and blankets. I just know this zone promises the best night’s sleep ever!

Big Bertha doesn’t stop with the surprises!

One of the biggest concerns with thows I have is the question of the bathroom. Don’t judge me, but I’m not a fan of incinerating toilets. I know they’re better for the environment, but I just can’t with them…

Surprise, surprise, Bertha has a normal, flushable toilet which is a delight! In fact, the entire thow bathroom is a delight because it comes with a regular sink and a soak-in tub. Convenience doesn’t lack in here at all.

However, the prettiest thing is definitely the accent wall made of tiny stones and metro tiles in the rest of the space.

Bertha is such an incredible little house and a real refreshment on the market. It promotes comfort, makes you feel good about yourself, and does all that in a limited space.

Big Bertha is more than just a thow. It’s the future of minimalistic living.

Are you ready to embrace the futuristic concept with utmost comfort?

I know you are.
