Their Airstream Life Was An Adventure, And Then A Baby Came Along

Sharing is caring!

Raising a child is the hardest, yet the most rewarding thing in the world.

I can’t even imagine what our grandmas and mothers before them had to go through to raise their kids, without the many benefits we have today.

It was a challenge, and yet so many generations turned out great.

A couple originally from Florida, Lauren and Daniel, decided they’re up for a challenge. A classic lifestyle wasn’t their cup of tea. They needed more from life, and that’s when they discovered the blessings of living in an Airstream.

Traveling the States up and down in the Silver Bullet was quite an adventure. But, nothing beats the adventure of parenthood let alone bringing a newborn into the Airstream to live there.

Every Day Is A New Adventure

A couple of years ago, when that man ate a bat and turned the world upside down, Lauren and Daniel were out of the States. Leading a wanderlust life, they had to go back and find a way to enjoy business and life in the new world system.

Enter their lives: The Airstream!

It was the best solution that allowed the couple to work, travel, and live wherever they wanted.

Long are gone the days when trailers were reserved for those less fortunate who had no other choice but to live on the road. Airstream is a sort of privilege in these days, your escape from the traditional life, adding a sprinkle of adventure.

A couple of years of nomadic life led Lauren and Daniel to expand their family. Their first baby, the adorable Dash, was welcomed into the Airstream which they completely adapted to the newcomer.

The Airstream had plenty of space for raising a baby. Their living room turned into a living room/ nursery, as well as every corner and every blank space in the RV. The sleek interior and the minimalistic approach are still visible under the cover of babyproofing.

When you have tight space, especially when you find yourself living in a compact building or RV, smart solutions are your BFFs! Can you believe there’s a place for guests sleeping over in the Airstream?

This dining table goes down so you can create a sleeping space for guests. When you’re done, just press the hidden button and get your dining table/ nook back in function.

As you can see in some details, Lauren and Daniel’s Airstream belongs in the category of luxurious ones with extra space and extra fancy features you’re about to see.

A House On Wheels That Hides Everything

Bringing Dash into the world changed everything for Lauren and Daniel, but their house suffered only minor tweak-ups and changes, the biggest one being their living room or chill zone. Now it’s just a milk spill zone! 🙂

Having a spacious kitchen with lots of cabinets and storage space in an Airstream is a luxury, and Lauren loves her little piece of luxury.

What I love the most about this part of the RV is that there is lots of prepping space, something I chronically lack wherever I move it, but that’s just me.

The couple has many cabinets and nooks to store their things, especially since the baby is there.

The Airstream may not be much, but it is everything to this small family. And luckily, they have everything they need for a normal and functional life.

If you were wondering if there is a bathroom, don’t worry at all. This is, after all, a luxurious version of the Airstream. Behind one of the doors in the hallway is a small walk-in shower, and behind the other one is the half-bathroom.

See, when you plan smart, you get the most of the space you have. This tiny bathroom appears larger because the sink and the cabinets are stored up on a level, and there’s even a mirror on the doors which always visually increases the space.

Way in the back is their bedroom that actually fits a queen size bed. There’s storage space above it, and lots of space in the bed to begin with. The family doesn’t lack comfort anywhere they look in this RV and that was the point of moving into one.

Just as their throw pillow says, you should always enjoy little things.

This Airstream is smaller than your standard house, but it’s a treasure on wheels, a home to a lovely little family that can only become bigger with time.
