Discover What The Future Of House Building Brings With This Incredible Container Mansion

Sharing is caring!

Back in the 1980s, the expansion of celebrity mansion began. Everyone wanted a piece of Hollywood, the priciest villas, the best design, the best everything… And everyone wanted the largest houses!

It was the sign you’re rich and you matter.Today, times have slightly changed because now we have other home ideas other than typical mansions. I mean, I can easily picture a celebrity like Taylor Swift living in a sustainable, yet luxurious choice. An upcycled container, perhaps?

No, it doesn’t have to be this exact house, but you get my idea.

The amount of luxury hidden between the walls of this container home says someone rich is living here.

You Wouldn’t Say So Based On The Outside

Using six 20 ft shipping containers, arranging them one on top of the other, and creating a U-shape was a handful. It’s not easy to upcycle one container, let alone five additional ones. Still, it’s so much easier than building a house from scratch.

But, did the extensive work on building the place leave no room for polishing the exterior? Au contraire! They left the raw beauty of corrugated metal walls intact and just added black frame windows and doors, creating picturesque views from the house.

Honestly, I don’t know if any facade would be appropriate for such a house other than the original form.

The Airiness You Feel When You Step Inside

The moment you step inside this container house, you get overwhelmed with how everything is so open and has that airy feeling. This is all thanks to large picture window on the front side of the house, which are positioned in the living room area.

The tall ceilings above the open concept of the living area were such a great idea because they got the sense of luxury and that expensive note everyone’s after.

A place doesn’t have to have golden details, plush sofas, and a bunch of marble patterns around to be luxurious. These wooden walls and granite floors tell the same story.

Food On The Left, Relaxing On The Right

As you can see, the cantilevered containers are right above the kitchen area on the left and the relax zone on the right. Shaped like the letter U, the living room is right in the curve, in the middle.

If you take a closer look at the back of the room you will notice some lovely wooden details that double as the divider and to hide the stairs in a delicate way.

So, About That Relax Zone

A couple of cozy, uniquely shaped chairs in the corner, a bar where you can sip your coffee, and… that’s it?

Well, what did you expect? It is a relax zone, so keep it as simple as possible. You really don’t need a lot of things to relax. Just some comfortable furniture pieces and peace in the house.

Okay, I have the first, now can I escape into this house to get the second part, please?

Keep Your Eyes On The Plate

I don’t know how anyone can concentrate on their meal when you have such a stunning view right next to you!

Well, at least this works great if you want to lose weight. If it was me, I’d be staring outside and barely eating my food all the time.

This dining area has some nice black chairs with a dose of industrial style, and probably the best position in the house.

The Island Where You Can All Cook Together

My family and I cook together. It brings us so much joy. But, our kitchen isn’t that big and we always bump into each other and spill things around. One cooking session in this kitchen would be the dream. It’s got a large kitchen island, a must if you ask me, and lots of prep stations around.

The combination of matte black cabinets with wooden walls, floors, and pretty much anything else is something that’s become popular lately and I don’t see if it will ever fade out of style. If you ask me, I wish that never happens!

Simple Can Become Luxurious If You Know How

Okay, I’m loving this glossy cork floor!

I remember the days when this type of floor was considered cheap and not aesthetic at all. But, as I said in the beginning, times change. I mean, who would’ve thought we’d be living in container mansions and having cork floors?

The combination of the wood in the bedroom and the modern grey bed creates a futuristic atmosphere you’re gonna love! Oh, and it comes with a bonus: a beautiful view!

Don’t Mind Me, I’m Just Gonna Run A Bath

Whenever I see a soak-in tub, I immediately wish I could hop in and make myself a bubble bath. Don’t judge; momma needs her time off desperately!

This is the kind of bathroom I love seeing on my trip and in hotel rooms: spacious, comes with a shower, and a bathtub, just for me.

A dash of greenery in the corner, the bold grey door, and the warm wood floors make this bathroom a special spot in the house, not just a borning room where you clean yourself.
