At first glance, it’s a standard container getaway. Sure, it comes with the lovely trio for every nice vacation, the pool, the grill, and the lounge chairs. But,t that’s not what makes this place so special.
Why did I decide to show it to you guys?
Because this container is nothing as it seems it is. It’s party on the outside and hygge on the inside.
Hygge? As in the unity with nature and subtleness trying to achieve in space? As in the use of soft colors, and natural materials, all to create a harmonious living environment?
Yes, that hygge!
I’ve never seen a smaller place with so many hygge elements before, but here we are…
The Summer Paradise On The Outside
The holy trinity of every summer home, the pool, the set of lounge chairs, and the barbecue, await you in this hygge-inspired container home.
I know you’ll be asking yourself Is Nora crazy? I see no hygge here!
But, trust the process, the hygge is there, but it’s hidden inside.
Let’s just check out the outside relaxation zones and we’ll get to the promised style, for sure.
With The Holy Trinity Of A Summer Home
As I said, there’s the holy trinity of every summer home, but besides the pool, the grill, and the lounges, there are other bonuses that make the place incredible. For example, that swing is too adorable to handle.
Oh, and the view and the location of the container, tucked between trees, with no one around you to bother your peace…
Sometimes a house doesn’t have to be spectacular to be special. In this case, the location combined with the unique appearance inside is something worth paying attention to.
Is Black Hygge?
Absolutely!
Although the typical hygge colors are soft, muted earthy tones and colors found in nature, black can also be used as a pop of color. Black works as a sophisticated color that increases the value of the room and makes it more grounded.
The hygge style is still visible in the other aspects of the living room area, such as the warm wood floor, with such pretty marks and stains!
A Tiny Kitchenette That Speaks Hygge Too
The entire living area with the kitchen in this container is in the same style, a wonderful combination of black details with wooden elements. It’s hygge but in a whole other way.
The tiny kitchen area has everything you need for a fast meal. Because, let’s face it, you’re gonna spend all your time outside anyway. Still, it’s nice to have a spot where you can at least fry up some eggs in the morning and brew a pot of coffee.
And it’s even nicer that that spot comes with stylish elements like those black shelf bars on the wall.
A Wee Bit Of Hygge In Here As Well
You can’t see much, but the hygge spirit is present in the bedroom too. The cozy bed by the wall has an intricately designed black steel frame.
When you combine it with cool black and white bedding and that black frame around the window, you get an effective look that’s simple but still brings many compliments.
Tiniest Room In The House, But So Much Hygge In Here
Wooden floors? Check.
A lovely wooden vanity with a sink and nice black steel frame? Check.
A walk-in shower with an incredible tile design? Check!
It’s all there. The perfect tiny hygge bathroom is here, offering comfort and the best shower of your life. Why the best? Well, with those pretty tiles, everything seems like the best thing ever.
The style is kept throughout the house although the rooms are small and not necessarily connected. I appreciate it when the designer does such a thing. It only makes the house more hygge!
