No, this isn’t a modern mansion set on top of the hill somewhere prestigious.
This is a container and I’m glad it fooled you with its looks!
The designers of this container home with a pool got what they were aiming for: an illusion of an incredible modern house, for a fraction of the price. Everything else, the pool, the terrace, and the view stuck, and the affordable cost of putting up a container home covered it.
I won’t lie to you: the house is nice, modern, has cozy vibes and some showstopping elements.
But, the real deal here is the view… and it simply left me without any more words to describe it!
The View Worth Twice As Much As The House
When you’re buying a house, there are several things that could be more important than just the house itself. The first one is definitely the area where the house is located.
What are your future neighbors like? How’s the view? Is it any good? How do you feel about living there?
I bet whoever was buying this container home had one answer for all these questions: amazing.
This container home is located on the top of the hill overlooking the ocean. There’s nothing but the blue sky above you and the blue depths of the water under you.
With an infinity pool almost blending with the horizon, this modern container is the trendy spot you’ve been looking for. Let’s just hope the influencers don’t find out about it any time soon.
The View From The Water
A closer look reveals a pool that has a glass front side so everything is visible inside the pool. What a fun way to make things interesting, something I’d never think of.
Since there are no neighbors around, except for the seagulls, you can fully enjoy taking a dip in this dash of luxury.
The location is a pristine one, but what about the house itself? A simple container can’t be that fancy, can it? Could this modern house finally replace traditional mansions with its innovative approach?
Everything Spins Around The View
Honestly, I don’t see why anyone would spend too much time inside when you have a view like this and a terrace that could help your relax like never before.
This container home is great, but the terrace is still my favorite part with the hot tub and the day bed. I don’t think I would ever leave that day bed if I was there.
Just picture this in your head: a cold lemonade is on the table next to you, the sound of waves crashing under the house is hypnotizing, and the feeling of warm sun on your skin makes you feel like you’re in heaven.
Incredible, isn’t it?
Keep The Inside Simple, But Effective
I can’t tell you how much I love that they kept the focus on the view inside the house too. Everything’s so open to the outside, with grandiose windows and picture views.
The catch was to create something simple, effective, and yet still luxurious so it fits the sole purpose of the container. Luxurious amenities are available if you ever come here to stay, just FYI. The simple blue–grey sofa with the view is worth more than anything in the world.
Taking A Bath Overlooking The Ocean
Imagine how that would be: taking a bath, trying to relax as the ocean whispers under you.
And then you step outside on the softest, cuddliest bathroom rug ever. You’re warm. Your heart is even warmer. And you can’t be happier leaving the blue shades of the ocean and the sky behind you.
As the container is on the contemporary side, the bathroom fully follows that rule. And, honestly, it’s a showstopper!
If it wasn’t for the ah-mazing view of the house that bought me, this would be my favorite part of it. I absolutely love the combination of concrete tiles in the shower, wooden accent panels outside of it and black elements to make everything pop.
Luxury In Every Corner Of The Room
I can’t remember the last time I saw such a cool kitchen. Usually, they’re either classic white and traditional or colored some crazy color and just pretending they’re cool. Pretending, because not every color can bring that many compliments.
The designer of this modern house, including the kitchen, sure loves their anthracite grey. Although the color looks great on the outside, using anthracite grey kitchen cabinets adds dimension and makes the kitchen stand out against the simple blue sky visible through the windows.
Oh, and not to mention against the warm hardwood floors that run through the entire place.
Wake Up, Sunshine
A simple bed in the middle of the room, and the room showered in sunshine. The beauty of this bedroom can’t be hidden. It’s a spot in the house with so much natural light, and so much warmth, it’s incredible.
Oh, how I wish I could wake up in such a lovely room without a single worry on my mind.
Just imagine: you’re stretching after a good night’s sleep, taking a fast peak into the mirror, and stepping up front to greet the sun. Life’s good but not better than this bedroom.
