My Mind Is Blown, And Yours Will Be Too, Once You See How Many Bedrooms Fit Into This Container House

My Mind Is Blown, And Yours Will Be Too, Once You See How Many Bedrooms Fit Into This Container House

Sharing is caring!

No, it’s not a mirage, although it does seem like one. Deserts can be tricky and play with your mind. But, the only game played here is the game of excellent design and unique containers.

Someone thought of installing an impressive modern mansion in the middle of the desert along with everything needed for a luxurious stay.

And it was the best decision ever!

Come check out this breathtaking complex that puts you living completely off the grid!

A modern oasis in the desert, a mirage that shows luxurious comfort and grandiose installments. This four-bedroom container house was inspired by the vast desert of California. It’s the ideal place to run and spend the day when city rushes destroy all your buzz.

The container house lies flat on the ground so the patio around it is easily accessible and still upgradeable. We see here a lovely rectangular-shaped pool with some lounge chairs, everyone’s favorite.

The container adapted nicely to the surroundings with its burnt orange walls and lots of wood details. The wood panels placed outside between the picture windows cover the corrugated metal of the container and offer a luxurious touch.

I wonder if the same amount of class can be found inside too…

The Grandiose Open Concept

Open concept in a container home is a must!

You can’t really create spacious stand-alone rooms. You can’t have cathedral ceilings. But, you can visually increase the space by using the said concept, as well as numerous windows to let in natural light.

The first impression you get when entering the house is how everything grandiose, airy, and spacious is. You can easily move between the zones, there’s space, and yet everything’s still together.

The living room area is facing the picture windows up front. It’s a simple, yet modern and elegant spot in the house in neutral colors with plants that elevate the atmosphere.

The dining area is right behind that comfy beige couch, and the kitchen is on the opposite wall. So, let’s see what kind of details they have to offer!

A Dash Of Boho In Dining Area

Having a living room that seats eight people tells enough of how big this space is. I love the position of this dining table, right behind the sofa, and right next to the kitchen. When hosting dinner parties, you can easily connect with your guests if you’re in the kitchen.

The thing the designer did to achieve such spaciousness was not including a kitchen island, one of the staple parts of American interior design. I love kitchen islands as much as the next person, but sometimes they are not the happiest option.

Having a traditional dining setup, along with mismatched chairs with a dash of boho, works so much better for this house!

Modern Kitchen With A Twist

I can’t tell how many anthracite kitchens I’ve designed in the past couple of years. Anthracite grey is incredibly popular and so are other combinations with it, especially with wood. I don’t see this trend leaving us any time soon.

The kitchen in this container home is… huge! Unlike most containers that have just a couple of cupboards and necessities, this kitchen has it all, even a modern stove, a double-door fridge, and some cool grill features.

On the left side is a cupboard with glass doors, ideal for storing your fancy china for those entertaining dinner fiestas.

The twist that comes with this kitchen is the upper wooden cabinets that blend so well with the wood siding on the ceiling that it seems like they’re disappearing.

Oh, and another twist is the interesting pattern of the backsplash wall! Such edginess was exactly what this kitchen needed!

The Master Bedroom Is Such A Beauty

Every bedroom in this container home is similar in size and design, with only differences in bedding type and some small details. The master bedroom that comes with an ensuite bathroom is my favorite.

This light grey bed looks so comfy with all those pillows and the raised mattress. I’d love to hop on and snuggle away into dreamland.

By adding small wooden panels behind the bed we got modern details that make this bedroom stand out from the rest.

However, what really makes it stand out is the ensuite bathroom you’re about to see…

The ensuite bathroom is actually a combination of a bathroom and a walk-in closet!

The wardrobe part is on the left and it was the happiest decision they could’ve made since the space in the bedroom isn’t that grandiose.

I love such combinations because they remind me of luxurious mansions. You too can have a sprinkle of luxury, even though you’re living in a container.

The combination of white and wooden details (my favorite as we all know) creates such a cozy feel in the bathroom. And, when you add a soak-in tub into the equation, you get nothing but comfiness!

A great thing is that the bathroom also comes with a walk-in shower when you want to wash off desert sand real fast, and a toilet in a separate stall, right behind those doors up front.

How Many Kids Can Sleep Here?

With three bedrooms that could accommodate six people this container house is already huge. But, wait until you see how many kids could sleep in here too!

They placed double bunk beds in this bedroom so four kids in total could spend the night and still feel comfortable. These cubicle-like beds are too adorable and I bet the kids would love them too, especially since they have tiny built-in shelves for their trinkets.

As Bright As Possible

What I could tell from each room is that they took great care of making the house as bright as possible by installing so many picture windows. No one really wants a gloomy container. We all think of THIS when imagining a nice container mansion.

And now we’ll all think of this container home when someone mentions a quick but comfortable getaway in the desert.

Who knew a box could be this extra?
