Top 10 Neutral Living Rooms That Will Have You Excited To Go Home Every Time

Sharing is caring!

I think we all know how important living rooms are in our homes.

Since they are the spaces we tend to spend most of our time in, putting time and effort into their design will definitely pay off in the long run.

Now I know that everybody has a personal preference when it comes to their main space, but a little bit of online inspiration can always do some good. That is why I have compiled a list of the most stunning neutral living room ideas that are suitable for every taste.

Oh, and my fellow maximalist, please keep an open mind! I’m sure you will find something you like too.

1. The Earth Says Hello

Beige living room with a withe couch and brown details

We are kicking off this list with a simple living room that has the most stunning furniture ever.

For starters, let’s talk about that incredible wall color! Standing between a brown and a beige, this color is perfect for anybody who doesn’t like their space to be too bright but also wants some good light to bounce off from it.

Moving on to the furniture, I have no idea where to start – everything is so cool!

That long, curved, lamp is ideal for when you want to sit back, relax, and read your favorite book. And that white fuzzy couch with the matching ottoman looks like it’s the most comfortable thing ever.

Plus, those adorable plants paired with the brown wooden cabinet give the room the perfect amount of warmth and color!

2. As Light As A Feather

This living room is more on the lighter side.

The main color is beige but since it is paired with that warm brown, it really does keep the whole room nice and grounded.

The furniture here is nice and minimalistic with that soft couch taking up the center stage. And just look at that little coffee table that is made out of a tree trunk! It can get more natural than that!

But my absolute favorite part of this living room is that incredible window that connects it to the kitchen. Not only does it make the place so much more spacious, but it also keeps you in the loop of what is happening at all times.

3. Awaken The Artist In You

The second I saw this one I could imagine a fancy artist living here.

Such a unique placement of that adorable couch adds so much character to the living room, don’t you think? Plus, those chic decorations, bookshelf, and lamp really give off a sophisticated vibe.

And we must talk about the incredibly cold gray color of the walls! Not only do you get the feeling that the space is light and airy but it also looks super clean.

I really can’t think of a single thing to add or remove from this living room. It’s simply perfect just the way it is!

4. Those Scandinavian Vibes

Minimalistic Scandinavian-styled living room

Our next neutral living room is for all my minimalists out there.

I believe that this is the perfect example of how you don’t need too many decorations to have a cozy space.

Let’s first focus on the main wall. Even with the shelves carrying such simple, everyday items, you still get the feeling that everything is in its rightful place. And just look at those wooden panels really are the icing on the cake.

Finally, the lounge area.

Those two chairs facing each other with that sleek table in the middle really are the perfect place for you and your loved one to sit back and talk about life! No distractions, no stress, just you two and your piece!

Oh, and if you feel like there is something missing in this room, feel free to add a stunning painting to that center wall. I am sure that it will give you exactly what you are looking for.

5. Cinderella’s Dream Living Room

Blue living room with black light fixture and coffee table

If that beige and brown color pallet isn’t your style, then this one might be.

For all of you who like a neutral living room but still want some color and decorations, then step inside this baby blue dream!

Everything here is absolutely stunning. From that soft couch, the futuristic table, and that amazing cabinet to all the simple decorations that really tie the whole place together.

But what really steals the show in this room is that breathtaking light fixture along with the panels on the blue wall. It’s such a simple thing but it makes you look like royalty.

Who doesn’t want that?!

6. Lights, Camera, Action!

Beige living room with a brown couch and two plants

I don’t know about you, but this living room reminds me of the old-school Hollywood movies that showcase those rich mansions.

The classic leather couch with the funky design with the matching chairs is the perfect place for you to host your friends and family for a cup of afternoon coffee. And for all my readers who like to host business parties, every single one of your guests will praise you for your impeccable taste.

Something that is easy to overlook but plays an important part in this space are the natural elements. Coming in the form of plants as well as the wooden coffee table and chairs, it really does give off a calming effect without you even noticing.

7. Art Gallery In The Making

Light living room with a gallery wall, plants and a fuzzy rug

If you are anything like me then you absolutely adore gallery walls.

However, if you prefer neutral living rooms you know that a gallery wall can be a bit too much. Well, this living room begs to differ!

Even though it has a dozen paintings that happily hang from its wall, it still has that quiet and calming vibe.

And all of this is because they stick to the same, neutral color scheme. The browns, beiges, and whites in this space create such a harmonic dance that no matter how many things it houses, it will never be too much!

8. Fun For The Entire Family

Green living room with a gray couch and a coffee table

If you are a loving parent, then you know how important bright colors are to the happy development of your children. But if you are somebody who isn’t really a fan of bright colors, this can get a bit tricky. So, why not meet in the middle?

This living room perfectly incorporates the neutral colors and design with the happy vibes our children know and love.

The light green walls will have both of you nice and calm while the adorable decorations and stunning plants will keep your space vibrant and stimulating.

There is nothing better than a stunning space where a family can get together and enjoy their time spent together!

9. One With Nature

Light living room with a green sofa, table and a carpet

Speaking of the color green, I think that we tend to underestimate its shade range.

My absolute favorite combination is green and beige and this living room did an excellent job of showing exactly that.

The main portion of the room, which includes the walls and the floor, has this incredible beige color. This gives the main characters, the couch, table, and carpet, to truly shine.

Their deep green really invites you in, making you feel cozy and comfortable as soon as you take a seat. And I just know that taking the shortest nap here will result in the most rested mind ever!

10. The Safe Way To Go

If you are somebody who likes to take the safest route, then this classy living room is your best choice.

The classic white sofa paired with a simple coffee table will have you wanting to host parties every just so you could show off your incredible interior design skills.

One important thing to mention is how good the contrast is between the light colors of the room and the black furniture. Such a huge dose of sophistication in such a simple way!

And let’s not forget those huge windows that flood the entire space with tons of natural light. There is no feature better than that one.

Final Word

I don’t know about you guys, but I definitely have trouble picking my favorite neutral living room from this list.

Every single one of them has such a unique design that calls out my name, asking me to stay inside the entire day. And to be honest with you, I wouldn’t mind a single bit!
