Welcome back to another adventure in a tiny home!
Normally, I don’t show you places I’ve been with my family, but then I stumbled upon this cabin again and thought: why not?
It’s been a while since we took a little getaway trip and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Olympia, Washington.
I remember it was such a pleasant stay and I bet you’d love to escape for a couple of days. Fall is all about quick getaway trips and enjoying the scenic changes.
So why not enjoy it in such a divine place?
Just from looking at the exterior, you can tell the house promises a lot. It’s a traditional American cabin with some tweak-ups and a bit of contemporary elements to make things more interesting.
The special feature of the window wall up front adds value to the place and makes this cabin stand out among all the others. Even rain would look so nice watching it by that window wall while sipping hot tea!
Those black leather armchairs are pure perfection, you can almost sleep on them!
Now this is a living room with a view, the heart of the entire cabin and a place where happy memories are being made.
The ground floor of the cabin is one big open space with a kitchen adjacent to the living room.
As you could expect, it’s a classic, almost traditional style in here with plenty of space for a small family to get together and share a meal. I still love the shade of raw wood incorporated into the space along with white walls. Everything looks so neat and clean!
The master bedroom is in the back and it’s visible from the kitchen.
Those windows behind the bed are too gorgeous! I loved this bedroom and I still love it! It’s always nice to have the master bedroom separated from other rooms to ensure full privacy, peace and quiet.
There’s also a bedroom loft up those lovely stairs you already seen.
My girls loved it in here, all snuggled up and cozy. I remember my youngest saying how she wants to be able to touch the ceiling in her room too!
All in all, the bedroom loft is another sweet addition. But, that was not the reason why we decided to spend a couple of days in here.
This is!
The outside lounge by the fireplace was the deal that bought my husband. He absolutely loved chilling next to it and lighting fire every so often. In fact, we all love spending time together, playing board games, and listening to the sound of the fire.
Also, there is a dining area on the porch too, so you can guess where we ate almost all of our meals while staying there.
There’s so much more to this cabin than just the comfy interior. It’s the experience that it offers, the possibility of spending all of your time outside, enjoying nature, and the company of your loved ones.
As I said, I don’t post houses I’ve either seen in person or have visited, but thinking back about this house made me realize we had such a lovely, bonding family trip.
I sincerely hope if you’re visiting Olympia, Washington, you’ll give this cabin a try and experience the same, wonderful stay as we did.
