I had to check it twice.
Nope, it was still not a bird’s house, no matter how much it reminded me of the one my kids and I made.
It was a real house for real people. Small, but still real.
And it could fit more than just one person. Where are tiny houses, there’s me, always on the lookout, making sure I don’t skip one at all.
This tiny baby caught my eye and I can’t even begin to explain how impressed I am after checking out the layout and how everything turned out so neatly.
I guess the round window and the A-frame sure do give birdhouse vibes. Nevertheless, I think that’s exactly what makes the house so charming.
The blue corrugated walls at the front combined with black walls covering the house from top to bottom are such a lovely pop of color in the space. They used two 20 ft containers to create this sweet deal. From my POV, it also kinda looks like Barbie dolls would move in here and get you started to play.
Although the house looks so dainty and charming, the inside is pretty surprising, with plenty of space for a small family to function. A family of humans, not Barbies!
Straight through those lovely white French doors, you enter the living room zone.
You’ll quickly notice there is a color scheme in the house, and it’s a wonderful one. Not many people use turquoise these days and I’m genuinely wondering why. Turquoise is such a happy, vibrant, and friendly color.
And it pairs so well with a bunch of other colors and patterns too.
When you look at each piece in this room individually, they’re all of different colors. But, when you connect them with an accent color like turquoise and add neutral-colored large elements like the sofa, you get a trendy place that belongs on the cover of the Frame.
The colorful elements continue in the kitchen and dining area, with chairs in the same turquoise shade. If you zoom in, you’ll notice another trendy element, the hexagon tiles arranged in the form of a flower. I can’t decide which I love more: them or the accent color in the entire house.
For a brief moment will climb up those curved black stairs to show you the bedroom loft. Yeah, that’s the place with the round window.
Up here, you won’t feel like a bird, but you’ll definitely be snuggled like one in the nest.
There are two beds with low frames, creating an illusion of a floor bed.
The second bedroom, believe it or not, there is one, and it’s downstairs.
It’s a classic bedroom with a traditional bed-dresser-closet combination. However, there’s a bit of edge here, with black elements and that interesting black cubicle shelf.
By adding just a couple of bold things in a room, you can get a completely new look and lots of incredible vibes.
Lastly, the place where the throne is!
While the throne aka toilet seat isn’t technically in the picture, of course, it’s there. Here you can see a couple of gorgeous items that create such a stylish scene.
Can we talk about round mirrors? I don’t know why they’re becoming so popular lately, but I’m loving the trend.
The tiles are the same as the backsplash wall in the kitchen, and another thing I love here.
Oh. and let’s not forget the golden hardware combination with black accents! Can it BE any more pretty than this?
This concludes our tour today. Are you ready to take a leap and fly into living in a tiny house?
