In the early days of my career, I had a dream that Captain Jack Sparrow came to me and asked me to redecorate his boat, The Black Pearl.
I still remember how crazy that dream was! One of my favorite movie characters is coming for my interior design. It was wild!
When I think about it, I wish I had the chance to show him the Perla Bungalow, at least in my dream.
This is the perfect land location that resembles his dear ship.
Trading Sea For The Shore
Gorgeously black from the outside, a combination of black metal and deep wood, the Perla Bungalow is the rare black pearl you can’t find easily. This tiny house is perfect for couples or single people looking for the ultimate relaxation.
This is an A-frame house, meaning the space may be a bit limiting inside. However, with proper planning, comfort can easily be achieved.
Jack Sparrow’s Retirement Days
I love how the bungalow has a small front porch with a cozy swing chair, perfect to sit down and unwind while watching the sunset.
Can you imagine Captain Sparrow rocking in that rocking chair? Me neither, but it would be such a fun thing to see!
All three seating areas, especially the one by the fire pit, boast good vibes and guarantee having your batteries recharged.
The Industrial Rustic Charm
The inside of the bungalow is warm and cozy, a bit industrial and rustic at the same time. You can blame that on the exposed steel beams that support the A-frame roof. The contrast between the black and the wood works out so nicely and makes the entire house super trendy.
I don’t see when the black or anthracite-wood trend will ever stop. Do you?
Find A More Unique Coffee Table, I’ll Wait
My favorite piece in the bungalow, not that there are many, is the unique wood table with steel legs. It looks like someone found a piece of wood in the forest and decided to make a table out of it, and that’s exactly why I love it!
But Why Is The Rum Gone?
Perla comes with a wood-burning fireplace for an authentic feeling. Nothing beats the smell of fire and the sound it makes as you’re drifting into dreamland.
Since it’s a rather small bungalow, Perla has a tiny kitchenette with just enough solace to store your goodies. If you’re like Jack Sparrow, you won’t be needing much but, you know… The rum.
If Only He Can Climb Upstairs
But, be careful with your impersonations of good ol’ Jack. The bedroom is right up those black ladders and things might get tricky if you drink too much.
Yeah, I can definitely see Sparrow face-planting this bed as soon as the drinks kick in.
The Perla Bungalow could be a great substitute for The Black Pearl if only Jack decides to finally settle down on land.
Cool, But Be Careful
I know Captain Sparrow would love it here, the only problem is… He could fall down from this loft at night.
You know, the combination of rum and… rum, can be problematic.
Oh, well… It’s still a nice view from up there. But hey, if he does take a tumble, at least the floor’s as soft as his pirate charm!
