Quite often as we’re growing up, we imagine our ideal life somewhere in a big city. Where there’s one cafe after another in your street, a huge mall behind the corner and millions of people all around.
But then, once we hit a certain age, almost half of the people who idealized the huge cities start changing their minds and wishing to start a life somewhere outside of those busy streets.
Somewhere where nature surrounds you every day, and the sounds you hear most often are the birds chirping and leaves rustling.
With this log cabin in Cherry Log, Georgia, US, that’s exactly the life you can experience! The huge city lights are switched with the warm light strings, and the loud city sounds are completely gone.
A Cozy Nook Immediately Makes This Living Room Promising
As we enter the cabin, my eyes immediately catch the sight of the comfy corner. As the bookworm I am, the blue sofa in the corner, perfectly located between the fireplace and the bookshelf, seems like the most excellent place to cozy up and get lost in the bookish world!
Add onto that the fact that the glass doors are right behind! So once it’s raining, the experience gets even better!
For those who prefer movie adaptations instead of books, you’ll surely enjoy relaxing on this brown, leather couch while choosing your next watch on the flat-screen TV opposite it!
Since the cabin is situated in a wonderful setting, you’ll likely want to step out and spend some time outside of the home instead of only sitting around inside, am I right?
Well, what if I told you there’s an area on the balcony which looks like an outdoor living space?
How About We Chill Here Tonight?
Yup!
Not only does it have a couch and a mini table, but there’s also a flat-screen TV and a fireplace! It’s as if someone took out all of the furniture of the living room and put it somewhere with fresh air! Pretty amazing!
We Can All Dine Here
Back inside of the cabin, right next to the living area is the simple and big dining room.
As this is a pretty spacious cabin, I can imagine inviting loads of friends over and having nice dinner parties! I can already tell that this long, brown dining table craves for some yummy meals to get there and loud laughs to accompany them!
Such A Lovely Rustic Kitchen
Before the dinner, all of the designated chefs of the dinner party would hangout in this stunning kitchen with gray, wooden cabinets and an L-shaped countertop!
No need to worry about space if there’s more courses and more chefs though, you can chop away the veggies and mix up the salads on the island as well!
And for those less skilled in cooking, they can keep you company on the bar stools accompanying the island!
Waking Up To The Spectacular View
My favorite room of the entire house is coming now and that’s the primary bedroom.
The reason for this room being my absolute fav is the balcony. Imagine being able to go out and get some fresh air as soon as you wake up, or making morning coffee and heading upstairs to appreciate the lovely scenery before the day starts. Priceless!
All of the huge windows allow the room to get so much natural light as well, making it feel very bright and airy which I love! A big amount of natural light inside of a room always makes me feel better!
Invite All Your Friends
In case of a bigger number of guests arriving, or wanting a kids room, you’ll be happy to see the bedroom with double bunk beds! Now this allows so much space!
And, despite it not being a primary bedroom, it doesn’t lose its natural feeling that all the other rooms have with its brown, wooden walls.
I Kind Wish I Had That Tub
Who said cabins have to be old-fashioned and have simple bathrooms? This one is so cool that it even has two shower options!
The first one is a white bathtub, excellent for some relaxing baths at the end of the day, while the second option is a shower with glass doors! So, whichever mood you’re in, there’s an option ready for you!
It’s Time To Get The Fun Going
Once you feel like having some fun and playing some games, an amazing hangout room awaits downstairs!
You can choose between some arcade games, a pool table or simply hanging out on the couch, possibly playing some card games with friends on the small, wooden table.
The Perfect Fun
Or, for those who’d rather have some fun outside, doesn’t a hot tub sound like the perfect way to have fun but also relax at the same time? I think it does!
I know I’ve said that half of the people who wish to live in those big cities eventually change their mind and start craving some nice house in the woods, but I’m pretty sure that after seeing this cabin it’s more than just half!
Who could resist all of the stunning outdoors space and a super cozy interior?
I know I can’t (yes, I’m craving for this space now too!)
