Explore A Stylish Container House With A Surprise You Never Expected To See

Sharing is caring!

Okay, I need to see this container house in real life! I don’t ask what it takes, just get me here!

Those are the words of my pre-teen daughter. Like mother, like daughter, right?

Well, I guess my little girl has quite an eye for our business because this house design I randomly saw online stole her attention. All she’s raving about is how she wants to have the exact same weekend house.

Sadly, all she can get now is a house for her Barbies, but we’ll get to the real one, someday, I promise.

After checking out the complete idea of this container house with a pool, I completely understood why she was so enchanted by it.

This project is so cool, with so many incredible surprises.

I can’t wait to show you guys.

First We’ll Check Out The Inside

And then we’ll check out the outside because that’s my favorite part of the house.

I won’t be that mean and I will show you what the container house looks like.

Such a beauty, isn’t it?

Let’s skip all that gorgeous exterior and head inside for some stylish treats. The designer in me is going crazy already.

This house actually consists of two 40 ft HC containers. It’s a three-bedroom place with lots of room for family activities both inside and outside.

The moment you step inside you become charmed by the open space of the family area with the dining room and the kitchen in the back.

Container houses are super budget-friendly so getting two containers for your house instead of just one won’t be that big of a deal or make your wallet suffer.

The dining area is right on the left by the entrance.

It’s a colorful spot with bright yellow chairs and wooden details such as the light fixture above the table that makes the room packed with good vibes. I love dining rooms. They’re a place where the family gathers and that’s highly important for me.

The house is all in natural and bright tones which only helps with the impression that the room is bigger than it really is.

The kitchen in the back is all white with countertops in white marble. There’s even space by the counter for high chairs. Just imagine: mom’s making pancakes in the kitchen, the kids are woken up by the smell and they’re rushing to take their spot by the counter. Dad watches over his morning paper.

What an idyllic scene!

The living room area features a nice, big TV for family movie nights and a cozy sofa with colorful pillows. It’s a small seating zone for hanging out and creating a bond with the family.

As you can see, out in the back are a bedroom and a bathroom, which is a smaller one of the two. Let’s think of it as the kid’s bathroom, with just a toilet and a shower.

The other bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom.

Both bathrooms are beautifully done in white tiles, creating a clean and tidy atmosphere. The only difference is in the size and that this one has a soak-in tub. Perfect for mom’s relaxing baths when kids fall asleep! God, I miss those! My apartment only has a walk-in and no tub, and that’s a bummer.

The master bedroom follows the same color palette as the rest of the house with a lovely shade of greyish-blue and slightly off-white walls. There’s a small work desk in the corner, just in case there’s some work emergency while you’re at your weekend home.

The other two bedrooms are almost the same in size and style and they offer just enough space for a bed and a closet.

It’s not the bedrooms that make this container so special.

It’s not the living room either, although it’s super pretty. It’s what lies up these stairs…

Stay tuned to see where these beautiful, industrial-style spiral staircases lead.

Then, It’s Time For The Grand Reveal

Are you ready to see what’s up those stairs?

I couldn’t believe my eyes. The idea is so brilliant and so beautifully executed. I wish I could teleport myself here:

It’s a rooftop lounge with a grill, a dining area, and a comfy sofa, a zone that promises good times and your energy bar recharged.

I can’t tell you how much I adore the idea of having a lounge on the rooftop, and one being so neatly done!

The zone is in the middle of the containers, leaving space for solar panels on both sides.

Climbing those stairs up, first, you’ll see a grill with some bar chairs. That already says there’s fun guaranteed up here, along with delicious meals and refreshing drinks. Think of this space as your own, very private bar/ restaurant.

Access is denied to those who don’t know how to relax and enjoy.

The sofa area is super comfy and cuddly, making you feel like you’re sitting on a cloud. I wouldn’t mind watching the stars from here, just lying and feeling good about myself.

Oh, but the dining nook with floor pillows and the low table… It’s to die for! Picture this: your friends are coming over for a dinner party, your partner is grilling steaks, you’re pouring the drinks, everyone’s laughing, and there’s such a pleasant feeling in the air.

What a wonderful addition this lounge is. It really increases the value of the entire place.

Lastly, the fun never ends at the pool.

As you already saw, that’s really a pool in the container, leveled with the house’s front porch. You can just casually walk around the porch and simply miss a step and end up taking a dip. I’d love to have such a luxury at my place.

This container pool house screams with good times, fun, and relaxation. It’s a place where a family can hide from daily problems and routines. It’s a weekend house for friends who want to party and spend time with each other.

It’s also one of the coolest container houses I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen quite a lot of them.

I gotta thank my daughter for making me pay attention to this container design. If I skipped it, I’d never be able to see the kind of possibilities a container offers.

A rooftop lounge on a container? I’m still in awe!
