When you think of spending some time away in a cozy cabin, what exactly do you imagine?
Most of the time, people imagine a rustic and warm home, not necessarily too big. Just something that’s enough to go out of town, detach from the usual city and social media lifestyle, and connect with nature and themself again.
But, not all cabins are like that. Some don’t take on the traditional rustic aesthetic but instead go for a more modern look, just like the cabin from Lavonia, Georgia, US that I will be showing you today!

This Shade Of Green Will Always Be A Slay
One of the most important details of every house is having enough natural lightning. That certainly isn’t an issue in this lovely cabin thanks to the gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area!
What’s even better is that the cabin is located in a very natural location, allowing for some stunning views through the big windows.
The colors of the interior range from the browns with the dark brown table to the whites such as the white furnished chairs and walls. In general, there’s a very neutral colored theme with one piece of furniture sticking out and adding so much richness to the room.
The dark green couch gives this place almost a slight royal vibe and makes me love it even more! I’m obsessed with dark greens in the living room, whether it be pieces of furniture, walls or decor. They simply add so much elegance!
Every Kitchen Should Have A Coffee Corner Like This
Over in the kitchen, the minimalist themes of neutral colors continue with the brown cabinets and white countertops.
What I love about this kitchen is just how spacious it is! I’d love baking some sweet treats here that would go so well with hot coffee or tea! I’m already thinking between going down the choco route or making something with fruits, hmm, what would be your choice?
However, as much as its big space is amazing, that’s not my favorite part!
My favorite corner is the coffee corner! Nestled between the big cabinets and the slanted walls, open, white shelves store a big selection of mugs and right underneath is the coffee maker!
I absolutely love mini coffee corners like this! They make me feel as if I’m in a super cute coffee shop every single time!
Right next to the cooking and living area awaits a dining room! Quite practical so you don’t have to carry your yummy meals too far!
Is anyone else obsessed with the brown chairs accompanying the glass dining table? Cause I definitely am! I’d love to have the exact same ones in my place! They seem like the perfect blend of classic and modern!
Bedrooms Without Any Cons
When it comes to choosing the bedrooms of this wonderful cabin, you can only choose one over the other based on your priorities and preferences, cause they’re both stunning!
The first of the two bedrooms, aside from the queen-sized bed, hides a mini loft upstairs and a balcony right next to your bed! I can already imagine someone who is a dreamer choosing this room!
Going to the loft to immerse in some good book and get lost in the mythical world, or getting some fresh air outside while letting their thoughts slip into daydreams.
While in the second bedroom, I’d place someone who’s more work-focused and simple. With the brown desk in the corner and the gray chair that comes with it, you can work away all you want!
Of course, those roles can change and intertwine, so it’s up to you which bedroom you would choose! I feel like I’m a mixture of those personalities, so I’d be having a very hard time choosing!
Surprises Await In The Backyard
The ultimate surprise of the cabin hides in the backyard!
How often do you get to see a private dock on the lake? Not very often I suppose!
Just picture spending time here, watching the sunset, enjoying the beauties of nature. It sounds heavenly, doesn’t it?
You can invite more people and spend time joking around and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Those nights are always the ones to remember!
Or, of course, if you’d like to enjoy some outdoors time without going away from the house, just step outside on the balcony and breathe in the light air!
The two chairs in the corner seem like the most perfect place to have that morning coffee, don’t you think?
Were you expecting that cool of a surprise in the backyard? Yeah, I didn’t think so! I mean, I’d expect maybe a small table and chairs, not a whole private dock on the lake!
