Something I’ve dreamt about ever since I was a kid is having a house with my friends. Me and my best friends always used to say how we are going to live together.
As we grew up, things have changed a little bit, of course. Some of us moved, some got married and moved in with their partners, we simply all got our own places. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is that we still love visiting each other and staying over!
Today, I will be touring a house which is perfect for cases like ours. The ones where you want and need your own space but also love having company over!
Take a look at this “friendly” house in East Hampton, NY, US!
Oh, That Carpet Tho!
Once inside of the house, we can see just how connected this house is with nature as well! The floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to see the beautiful outside greenery while welcoming tons of natural light!
As the house is very connected with the outdoors, the interior matches that vibe quite well and keeps things rather minimalistic and neutral.
The light gray, L-shaped couch is an excellent place for both watching something on your flat-screen TV or appreciating the nature surrounding you!
The Balance Is In Style
The cooking area continues with the darker and natural theme that goes through the house with the black cabinets and a white countertop.
Something I’m liking a lot is that in the middle of the kitchen, instead of cabinets being placed over and over again, simple shelves decorate the room nicely with the light background! The balance manages to keep the dark theme of the room while not making it “too much”!
I’d love to make some hot, black coffee or matcha latte here in the mornings, mixed with some avocado toast of course. I totally get that vibe and I love all those things! In fact, I might just make matcha latte for myself right now!
The Grey Beauty
In the first bedroom, things are kept very minimalistic. A comfy bed with a desk in the corner allowing you to comfortably work from home. Something tells me this is every minimalist’s dream!
Bright Rooms, Happy Minds
Over in the guest room, the vibe is quite similar!
One thing that I love about both rooms are the floor-to-ceiling windows! You can appreciate the views right from the comfort of your bed and can always be woken up by sunlight!
Part Of Nature
The most important part of the house, in my opinion, is the outside area. The pool in front of the middle of the house perfectly connects the main part of the house with the guest one! It truly gives the feeling of two houses under one roof!
Aside from the cushioned couches and mini tables, the pool is surrounded by loads of big grass and trees, truly making the house reach that naturalistic element next level.
I’m just loving the connection of the indoors and the outdoors when it comes to this place. You can be inside and still feel like you’re a part of nature!
I don’t know about you, but I’m already thinking of calling my friends and telling them about this house. I mean, it’s a mixture of our childhood dreams and adult realities! Can it get any more perfect?
