The Outdoors Living Space Of This Retired Teacher’s Tiny House Is The Coziest One Ever

Sharing is caring!

What’s your dream place for when you retire? Are you someone who will want some big, luxurious apartment for which you’ve spent a lifetime saving for? Or, a tiny and cozy space?

I’m definitely leaning more towards the second option. It’s hard to resist warm and tiny places!

Someone who thought the same is the retired teacher living in Austin, Texas, US in this marvelous tiny house!

Its green and white color combo of the exterior already speaks volumes on how fun yet simple and cozy this place is!

I’d Be Spending My Whole Day Here

If you think we are already inside of the house, you’re wrong!

This is not an inside living room but instead a living space deck! And wow, this is probably the most beautiful outside area I’ve ever seen! I’d never even go inside if I had a place like this. The owner of the home agrees as she says how she spends at least half the day outdoors!

WIth the gray sofas and tiny tables, it’s an excellent place to hangout with friends and family! Morning coffee or afternoon tea sounds amazing here!

The Real Living Room

And now, we are in the actual living room of the home.

Quite a minimalist area with loads of natural light thanks to the windows surrounding the entire room has everything one would need!

A brown couch to relax in and a flat-screen TV for some movies before sleep time! One really cool thing is that the couch has cup holders! If you’re binging some movie just grab some snacks and place your drink right next to you! Super practical!

Smart, Isn’t It?

Going forward, the kitchen has some beautiful vibes! With countertops on both sides of the room, tons of space is available for making some yummy meals even though this is a tiny house!

The owner says how she wanted to use up the storage area as much as possible and therefore opted for brown cabinets all around! She even decided to use the mini countertop oven instead of a regular one so she can get some more storage!

Smart thinking!

Oh, The Details!

The bedroom is an absolute oasis!

My favorite thing about it is the one wooden wall! Having all-white walls is okay, but when you break it off with some texture or color? Now that’s a bingo!

Of course, the storage room is not missing out in here either! First up is the brown cabinet with deep drawers, excellent for displaying some personalized decor on top! And on the sides, two closets hide behind the white doors, making the room seem even more neat!

Wait, There’s More

Aside from the deck we mentioned right away, there is actually more outdoor space! In fact, that deck spreads around the house! This way, the bedroom has an opening to the outside as well!

In case of wanting some peaceful time in the mornings, fresh air in the evenings or anything in between, this extra little balcony area is just excellent!

Seeing a place like this made me feel even more confident in my decision of wanting a tiny and cozy place one day when I retire! How about you? Did it help you draw any conclusions yourself?
