A Minimalistic Container Home That Feels Like You Are Living Inside Of A Tree

Sharing is caring!

Minimalists, I’m sorry, but we really do live in a maximalist world today.

With all these new trends and countless items to purchase, seeing a house that isn’t packed with things and trinkets has become rare.

The other day, I visited a friend’s house and was stunned by her collections. Tin cans, books, cups – you name it, she has a collection for it. I mean, don’t get me wrong, her home was beautiful. But sometimes I crave a more minimalistic design. A home that is simple, quiet, and relaxing.

So, my fellow minimalists, this one is for us!

As shipping container homes gain their popularity, their designers really do go above and beyond to make them as cozy as a real home.

But some designers decided to turn it down a notch and make a container home so minimalistic it feels as if you are living inside of a tree!

But first, we have to cover the exterior. Even though it’s made out of a single shipping container, this place still managed to find room for a little deck area.

Since breathing in fresh air and spending time in nature are so important, this deck will ensure you get just that. It might not be much, but it sure does provide you with everything you need to be one with nature.

Speaking of connecting to nature, one of the walls of the container home has been turned into a full-sized window. But don’t worry, if you still want some privacy, just close the shutters and enjoy!

Time to step inside!

The entire interior of the home – from the kitchen to the bedroom – is made out of wooden boards. This perfectly complements the minimalistic and serene design of the home.

Its open concept gives you a huge amount of space that allows you to forget that you are inside of a shipping container.

Located on one side of the container is a full-sized bed. Not only will it provide you with the best sleep of your life, but its location also gives you the full view of the stars as you slowly drift off to sleep.

With a bed this soft and a room this quiet, there really isn’t much distracting you from having a good night’s rest.

Next to the bed is a little fireplace that warms up the entire room in a matter of seconds.

Just imagine spending a quiet winter night in this place – the snow falling, the fire cracking. Truly magical!

Moving further up the container you will find yourself standing in the kitchen. And I must admit, it’s truly breathtaking.

One Of The Most Natural Kitchens You’ll Ever See

Every part of this kitchen is made from wood! Plus, all appliances are neatly hidden away, making the entire space as minimalistic as possible.

But not to worry, it still has everything you need to make the best dinner ever!

It also has a lot of storage space that can serve as a wardrobe for you to put away all of your belongings. This will keep the space nice and neat.

Located at the very end of the container – the bathroom!

And, you guessed it, it’s also made out of wood. Well, everything except the toilet, of course! But it’s wooden exterior will make you feel as if you were in some kind of a Scandinavian spa. Who doesn’t want that?

Even though it is a little room, it still has enough space to house a toilet and even a full-sized shower!

This home really is the living proof that you don’t need much to have it all!

With its small space and minimalist design, it still managed to have everything one would need for a life filled with delight and relaxation.

And since we are living in a fast-paced world jam packed with things, retreating to a home like this will do wonders for our minds. Trust me!
