Check Out A Tiny Cottage Home That’s An Absolute Charmer

Sharing is caring!

When I was a kid, all my friends used to draw flowers, animals, occasional houses, moms and dads…

I drew houses, but not the typical one-window-one-chimney-and-a-roof-house.

I drew what my room would look like if I were decorating it.

Then I drew rooms for my friends.

And then, the school passed and I was before a major decision: where to go to college?

Fast forward a couple of years, and I made it. The girl who once drew houses and rooms on a piece of paper is now an interior designer with a passion for writing. I don’t draw on paper anymore; I have computer programs now.

That’s why whenever I see a computer render of a house I always check it out and give the designer a chance to be seen by many others. Who knows: maybe some little Nora is out there, waiting for her career to start.

I don’t know who is behind the Exploring Tiny House channel on YouTube, but I know it’s a talented person.

When I saw this adorable cottage-like home this channel came up with, I had to share it with you guys.

My grandma used to live in a similar house and that’s one of the reasons why I liked this one so much.

For starters, the porch… my absolute favorite of all time!

Even if it’s the tiniest porch ever, it’s still a porch where I’d put my rocking chair, sip sweet tea, and bring out my Southern grandma vibes.

This tiny house is only 453 square feet, but packs in enough charm to win you over.

Even though I expected a more country-styled interior, the modern details inside seem to adapt perfectly to the whole house idea.

As you can imagine, inside this tiny house is an open space living room and kitchen because additional walls are simply unneeded.

The living room is done in beautiful light tones with wood accents. The point was to create a room with an illusion of a bigger one. That’s where the accent wall with wooden panels comes to help. It’s the centerpiece of the room, where all eyes point.

For me, the combination of beige, white, and wood will always be trendy because it’s so light and airy, not to mention charming.

On the other end of the room lies the kitchen and dining room area which will make you think you’re in a normal-sized house. The lack of space or cramped corners can not be seen in this home, even though it’s classified as tiny.

See, there’s even enough room for a double-door fridge, an oven, and plenty of cabinets for storage. If you look closely, you’ll notice that there’s extra space above the upper cabinets (which are so cool, btw), so anyone could update the room and make more storage if needed.

But, with a pantry right next to the kitchen, storage won’t be a problem.

Sleeping arrangements shouldn’t be an issue either, especially since there are two bedrooms in this 453 sq ft.

The first bedroom is right next to the white marble and emerald green dining room set.

It’s as cozy as it gets, with a queen bed, plenty of natural light coming from the windows, and even a sweet plant shelf. I love adding a pop of colors, in this case as plants. Not only do they look beautiful, but we all know how beneficial plants are too!

The master bedroom is small, just like any other room in this house, but it still has a wardrobe fit for two. Even if I tried so hard, I wouldn’t be able to find a mistake in this bedroom. It’s just as I like it: clean, simple, and still charming.

The other bedroom could be a kid’s room with two single beds.

As you can see, it only fits the beds and a shared nightstand. However, what I love about this room is the wooden headboard for both beds. It’s so simple, yet so effective! Love this idea!

Lastly, there’s the bathroom.

It’s the only bathroom in this tiny house, but I believe it’s quite sufficient.

I bet you’ll like, as much as I do, the black and white combination, especially the black marble vanity. Oh, okay, I gotta add the round sink and the round mirror too! They complement each other so well, don’t you think?

All in all, it fits the aesthetics of this tiny home, and it’s a genuinely nice bathroom idea that I’d recommend to everyone who wants something everlasting.

There you have it: a sweet tour of an even sweeter home that fits so much charm, warmth, and beauty!
