Modern And Minimalist Two-Story House Might Be What You’ve Always Actually Needed

Modern And Minimalist Two-Story House Might Be What You’ve Always Actually Needed

Sharing is caring!

I’m sure there’s tons of you out there that love modern houses just as much as I do. I mean, they are called “modern”, what’s not to like? But, so many times those modern houses are huge villas. That’s not everyone’s preference, right?

What are your thoughts on something smaller, but still modern and elegant? Sounds great, hmm? Let me show you an excellent example of that!

This two-story shipping container is an excellent choice of home for literally anyone! It is very simple with its neutral colored exterior, yet still unique! I could totally imagine myself living here on my own, but I can also imagine friends moving in, or a family! Like I’ve said, it’s fit for anyone!

Now, there’s one more really cool thing I like when it comes to the exterior of this house. However, I will keep that a secret for now and show you later. Trust me, you’ll definitely want to stick around!

This Living Room Is So Tiny Yet So Elegant

Entering the living room you will immediately feel the classic yet cool look. Upon seeing this room I can totally imagine a vanilla incense or a scented candle. Its scent also gives me a classic but modern vibe, don’t you agree?

In charge of elegance and class are for sure the neutral colors of the interior, even the beautiful artwork on the walls is in black and white.

I can imagine flipping through the pages of some fashion magazine while sitting on that light gray couch, it’s just a fashionable place you know? Or maybe watching some fashion show on the flat-screen TV opposite it.

Around the TV minimalist shelves are excellent for displaying some decor. Now it’s your choice if you want to stay on theme and put something neutral. Or, maybe you’d go for something unexpected and really make it shine! It’s hard to go wrong with any choice here!

Spiraling Up The Stairs

A little further down the house, right under the staircase, is a wonderful brown cabinet with a shelf above it, which is both practical and beautiful!

Here’s what I would put on the shelf: a small plate which matches the rest of decor used for my everyday jewelry. Next to that I’d add some scented candles because there’s never enough of those (how about vanilla, the house reminded me of that scent!). And of course, a potted plant!

Add Some Yummy Smell To This Classy Kitchen

Now for the most important place, the cooking and dining area!

Since this place is super classic and elegant I think it calls for some fancy food, right! Maybe even a couple of courses? Okay, I don’t know if I’ve gone too far with that but cooking in this kitchen would be really cool! I’m far from a chef and I’d love to make a three course feast!

All of the amenities needed for the cooking experiments are in the gorgeous glass cabinet. So, get them out on this L-shaped brown countertop and let’s warm this room up!

A part of the kitchen is this beautiful white dining table. Just imagine all of that fancy food I just talked about under these gorgeous hanging black lamps. A cool thing is that the dining table is set right next to a floor-to-ceiling mirror. It’s nice to appreciate some good food from all angles!

Any Place Can Be An Office Area And This Is The Best Example

Something I love about this house is that each and every single corner is used to its full effect. Can you believe this office area is actually a hallway? Just climb up the stairs and you’re in the office. How cool is that?

Let’s not even get started on the view! I’m always a supporter of desks being positioned right next to a window. You can do your work while appreciating the wonderful scenery in the background!

Despite it being in the hallway, there’s space for everything! A nice brown desk, comfy beige chair and a big white closet. What an amazing office! I’d be so productive if mine looked like this!

The Morning View

The views just never stop in this container house. From the hallway we enter this stunning bedroom with a balcony. It’s a floor-to-ceiling glass balcony so you can appreciate the outside and allow the sunshine to get inside anytime you want!

The comfy bed faces a huge flat-screen TV so binging is definitely a big yes before sleep when it comes to this room! Now for something you don’t see much. There is a mirror all around the part of the wall on which the TV is attached. What a cool and practical decor, am I right!

This Backyard Is Made For Unforgettable Memories

Okay, remember when I told you there’s something cool that I will keep a secret? It’s time for a reveal! Take a look at this beautiful backyard!

You must be thinking “What? Haven’t we seen the kitchen?”. Well, yes, the inside one. This is an outside one though! It’s so cool for some dinner time with friends and family! There is a brown dining table as well with some chairs. I think this calls for an immediate BBQ party!

Can you believe we’ve seen all that in such a small house? It’s actually so minimalistic yet full of things! And is proof that modern houses don’t always need to be huge. Sometimes a modern shipping container is the way to go!

Now, I’m wondering if you’re interested in this house. Cause, I keep thinking about those BBQ parties, so if you plan one in the near future, do hit me up!
